The property is unique and fully matched the description. I agree with somebody's comment a "living museum" which was an interesting experience. However, some improvements like microwave and dining table would be a great addition. No TV or Wi-Fi but the recorder was working and a collection of discs was great.
Teapot cottage was great fun for a night and Dan was a real character.
Teapot Cottage is a welcome retreat from the hectic day to day. No cell service, no TV, no wi-fi; but tons of cozy charm, old records and relaxing ambience. If we get the chance we will be back!
Memorable location. Easy reach of all we wanted to do and some great music
Teapot Cottage was the highlight of our stays in NZ. We loved the time trippy vibe, the cosy comfort and the unique experience of living in the past. We had a fabulous dance night listening to music on vinyl on the RADIOGRAM!!!! Beatles, Neil Diamond, ABBA! And the outdoor bath was a blast! We stoked up this masterpiece and soaked forever in delicious warmth while the rain gently sprinkled, birds sang and a beautiful plump pigeon nibbled new leaves! BLISS! MAKE SURE YOU STAY AT TEAPOT.
