We loved the property & appreciated all the care & thought which had gone into constructing it & our stay, fresh eggs milk, freshly made bread all organic etc went towards us feeling very welcome, the surrounds were beautiful I particularly loved the peace & quiet and not forgetting the exceedingly friendly piggies, the wealth of knowledge they have on permiculture food forest biodynamics. A great place to recharge the batteries & be inspired. Thank you
Great property, perfect little hideaway for 4 adults. Felt very welcomed with the freshly baked muffins and organic muesli.
The cottage and surrounds are beautiful. Got some good ideas about eco-building. Found it comfortable, clean, and a lovely space to unwind in.
A beautiful, restful place in a beautiful, restful setting. We loved the comfy beds and the birdsong, and the pigs that flop over and go to sleep when you scratch behind their ears. We were very lucky, as Nellie had her piglets on the last night we were there - the kids were in heaven. Take your slippers if it's cool, as it's a shoes-off bach with hard floors. Warm though, with a great fireplace.
The location is so ideal for us travelling from Wellington. Only one hour drive from home, we were embraced by hills, forest and farm animals. Beaches, restaurants and shops are all so easy to reach. The guest house is so cosy with eco-designs and arty taste. We enjoyed very much the bush walks right on their property. The walks were accompanied by their lovely dog, Zaza. Our little boy coudn't stop asking about her since we are back home:)
