Very comfortable. A cottage with real character. Lovely central location. We loved it and would love to return.
We didn't want to leave. We wish we'd booked it for longer.
The Cottage had everything we needed, was comfortable, spacious and delightful. We loved the old New Zealand decor and feel to it, and the kids appreciated the large tv with great selection of channels for our down times. It became a daily ritual to walk into the village and enjoy the cafes and shops. We are now thinking about when we can come back to Russell, and Number Five Cottage would be my first choice of accommodation. Loved it.
Excellent facilities and easy walk around the corner to the centre of Russell. Children missed having wifi although we didn't!
A gorgeous little cottage, around the corner from town. Fantastic place to stay. We'll be going back.
A comfortable stay in this wonderfully authentic and character filled bach. The homely touches are wonderful, I particularly liked the framed picture of the queen! Strolling distance to town, most importantly to The Duke of Marlborough where we watched the sun go down each evening over a few gin and tonics! My partner and I parked our car up on the Thursday evening and didn't touch it again until we left on the Monday- perfect! Thanks Carrie and family.
Great property 2 minute stroll to everything. Quaint rooms with everything you need while away from home. Clean and very tidy with useful local info provided on arrival. Great outdoor area to sit and enjoy an al fresco meal. Highly recommended.
