Lake has great fishing and Jackson lake has low boat traffic
House is large and has ample room. Overall master bedroom is very nice and the newly updated bathroom with whirlpool tub was a huge favorite with our kids. Garage is nice feature for storing our lake gear. Dock is large, but a part is broken and has unsafe boards. Made it difficult to get out of the water easily due to the broken section. Lake overall was quiet and we were able to tube and knee board whenever we wanted. The A/C did not work the first day, but the owner took care of it immediately and had a service person out the next day. Owner was easily accessible by phone and able to answer any questions we had. Kitchen had plenty of space for food and other supplies we brought. Refrigerator seemed to not seal well, so we had to be sure we really made sure it was shut. Counter to eat at in kitchen was very nice use of space. Overall the house has good size and a large wraparound deck with huge trees surrounding it. Basement area was large and bedrooms downstairs were good size. Bedding and towels could use updating for guests and I would recommend having all beds made up before guests arrive. Pull out sofa is not very comfortable, however, we had plenty of space downstairs to bring an air mattress, etc. if needed instead of pull out. Very close to CAMBA trails and convenient to PLA-MOR bar and grill which had a great fish fry recommended to us by owner. Spent time in Cable at the Natural History Museum which I would highly recommend the programs available there to all ages. Great find in the "middle of nowhere"!
