The property was great and the location was an experience for our family. The children enjoyed the different environment and loved kayaking. I would recommend though that the owner needs to ensure there is enough water for the people using the house. Instead of giving enough water for the amount of booked days, give water for a day extra just incase it runs out. Otherwise everything else was fine, we really enjoyed our stay at the house.
Great place to stay as long as you fit in around tides and a bump access track. The house is nestled in the dunes on The Spit with the saltmarsh on one side and the sea on the other. We didn't get to swim as it was too windy and cold but sure it would be lovely when it is sunny.
Fantastic quirky, light and bright interior, lovely big kitchen...and of course the most amazing location out on the spit!
We had a fantastic stay, the children had a ball, a very child friendly house with stunning views, we look forward to booking your house again soon. Thank you it was absolute pleasure to deal with you :)
We loved staying in the house for four nights. The road was impossible for our heavy loaded small rental car. The steep potholes where full with rainwater. But that was not effecting our stay. We just walked the ten minutes to the house. Nice reception with fresh flowers! We saw the large sealion and even on a early morning two killer whales.
Truly magical spot, house was bright and quirky and comfortable. Paradise for kids with toys and games and of course the beach. We read late in our stay to keep off the dunes around the house as much as possible, unfortunately kids had at this point spent days jumping in them, sorry! A wild part of the country to explore with a cozy, warm house to return to at the end of the day. Highly recommend.
