ELK Experience. "ELK HAVEN LODGE" offers luxury accommodations in this 3 bedroom, 2 bath log cabin. 360 mountain views! Total occupancy for 6, private flat circular driveway, roads are paved and maintained by the county. Coming Soon, early May, a 24' x 24' Carport for those Important Toys. Relax on the wrap around deck overlooking Mari's Meadow and enjoy the Elk that call it home. Or enjoy sitting by the firepit roasting marshmallows and just relaxing watching the majestic elk stroll by. I own the vacant lot next door for our Elk friends to relax on. Perfect for all Seasons......This Cabin is owned and managed by me, with an impeccable reputation for offering 5 Star Accommodations.

▐▐ COVID-19▐▐ Our standard cancellation policy is in effect and we recommend that guests purchase travel insurance. "Cancel for Any Reason" insurance covers pandemics. The ONLY EXCEPTION would be if the state of North Carolina or Haywood County were to require short term rentals to close.

Awesome House!

This house is awesome! It is very comfortable and has plenty of room. We saw an Elk on our first day there! I can’t recommend this house enough.

Great place for a weekend getaway!

The cabin was perfect and every detail was covered with all the things you will need. The furnishings were nice and beds were comfortable. Great outdoor area and fire pit. The local Elk herd visits every evening to graze in the field next door. We counted over 20 of them right outside the property. They are not aggressive and keep to themselves. Great time and great views. Close to all the shops and restaurants in Maggie Valley.

Our time at this cabin was amazing!

Beautiful cabin and location! Amazing view of the mountains and Elk, the Elk came right up to the cabin, it was so peaceful just watching them! Fire pit outside is perfect for some afternoon relaxation. Great local restaurants near the cabin to enjoy. I would give this place a 10 star rating if i could. We will be back to enjoy this little peace of heaven on earth.

Winter Break Short Ski Trip

Elk Have Lodge was amazing! We only had time to stay for two nights but those two nights were wonderful. The cabin is very comfortable and has everything that you need. The tiny details and extras in the cabin that Bruce has included set this rental apart from the others we have stayed at previously! The location was perfect for us with Joeys Pancake House and the road to the slopes minutes away. We will definitely be back when we can stay longer!

My wife and I started with renting our first cabin back in 2008. We just find we have a "Peaceful Easy Feeling" when we stay in our cabin. We want to provide that same feeling to our guests whether you plan a fun full packed adventure trip, Horseback riding, skiing, or simply relaxing in a rocking chair sipping a cool glass of tea. So, we want you to kick back and relax and enjoy the majestic Elk as they walk by, like we do each and every time we visit. It never gets old!

This brand new private cabin, is in a new development with undeveloped lots so guests can enjoy the beautiful mountains and wildlife Maggie Valley provides.
My other cabin is in Smoky Cove Resort in TN. I have managed that cabin since 2015 and has the most 5 star reviews in the resort. I treat my cabins like my home and make sure all my guests feel the same way. The moment you walk into this clean smelling home, with all the comforts of home, you will instantly love it!
