Lovely and cosy with great art.
Cute place, great location, clean & tidy.
Location was great - we stayed during the French Fest and it was perfect. Cute heritage apartment above the shops on the main road, good size bedrooms and 2 lounges. I loved the balcony with table and chairs - we felt we were in the Queens Theatre Box. Perfect for 2 couples.
The kitchen had NO serving plates, bowls or mixing bowls. Knives were very blunt. This would be so, so easy to remedy making cooking and preparing food so much easier. Plus no salt or pepper supplies.
This is a lovely property, furnished nicely with great views. It is spacious and comfortable. You can walk to shops and restaurants. We particularly enjoyed drinking coffee in the morning looking out over the harbor...it was stormy. If the weather is nice, you can sit on the deck and enjoy a glass of wine and the amazing view.
The only drawback is that the property is situated over a restaurant. The cook starts work at 6:00am in the morning. Whoever stays in the back bedroom should be prepared to be awaken at 6:00am when the cook walks across the gravel to open up the restaurant. Other noises (kitchen, helpers arriving etc.) will be heard from then on. The restaurant serves breakfast and lunch only. So there are no noises after 5:00pm. Nights are quiet.
There was an additional linen/cleaning fee accessed that is not included in the VRBO description. This was a surprise and should have been included in the VRBO description.
