Lovely family Bach, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Bach was well equipped, good size, toddler/child friendly, clean and tidy. The kids loved all the facilities and we were very impressed with Kawau and it's wildlife. Super holiday, thank you
Fantastic stay at this bush oasis, a perfect little homely cottage and kids paradise. Lovely in winter but must be gorgeous in summer bbqing on the deck watching the kids on the flying fox. Keen to go back!
Great House in the bush with cosy fire place. We have had an amazing time and the kids loved the playground. Highlight was the flying fox. We can highly recommend this bach even to stay there in winter
Very comfortable house with a lot of extras that made our stay easier - kayaks, jeep to ferry people and goods from the jetty etc. Lots of room and great for the kids who could have stayed on the trampoline, swings and flying fox all day. Only downside was no view of the sea, but surrounded by trees and birds so not at all a bad swap! Also very easy to get to Mansion House on a short 20/30 min walk that even the 4 year old could do (with encouragement!).
The location half a kilometre uphill from the waterfront is the only drawback to this property. The arrangement to take stuff up in the vehicle provided is a good one. However as we only were staying 2 nights we didn't bother with that. Bach is comfortable, spacious and well equipped.
