This is a lovely 2 bedroom unit, it is the end property so has extra parking and a large back yard. Downstairs you have the lounge with fold out sofa bed, and fire place, kitchen and laundry that also has a second toilet. Sliding door to the back yard. Upstairs is both bedrooms and bathroom. Bigger room has a small deck off the room. This house is perfect for a family or couples. It is walking distance to the shops and restaurants, and to the lake. At the end of the driveway, over the road is a large reserve for playing sports. It has a TV with Freeview channels, that also has a USB port if you have movies on a memory stick

Linen hire is avaliable at $12 per person, per stay. If you would like to hire linen let us know when you make your booking.

A tired property.

A tired property. Although clean and well presented.

The main bed was squeaky but I fixed that be screwing the loose bed legs. However the mattress is old and you could feel the springs.

NO hair dryer and no shampo provided.

Note 2Degrees coverage is Edge so data very slow. Spark was ok though.

If you plan on sleeping during your stay in Taupo, look elsewhere. The beds were ridiculously old, lumpy, squeaky and so uncomfortable. We all ended up sleeping on the floor (which also squeaked!!). The house and everything in it is very old and in desperate need of a little TLC. The only positive about this property is its location and proximity to the shops.

It is a nice place to stay. Close to town but the property was quite cold initially but once it was warmed up it is toasty and cosy. Good amenities and parking

Ideal location for the Ironman supporters! Easy walking distance to shops and lakefront. The furniture is dated and the fold out beds in the lounge and other small couch really need replacing - none were very comfortable to sleep on for more than 1 night. There were also a few ants in the kitchen so we had to be quite careful with food storage and cleaning up every little crumb.

Great central location, near to the beach, large fenced back yard, lots of off street parking and car port, great to have a secure shed for the bikes. Good space too. Perfect for event weekends.

Better beds and bedroom furniture would be a benefit for a longer stay.
