This beautiful home sits on 10 acres on the Saco river in Maine. Built in 2001, this home features beautiful woodwork and hardwood floors. Just installed- an outdoor hot tub outside on the deck with a roof. The family room boasts a cathedral ceiling and dramatic floor to ceiling windows. A woodstove and ceiling fan completes this room. The kitchen has tile floors, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances and a separate dining area with slider out to one of the large decks. The master bedroom suite is on the first floor with a full bath. Two more bedrooms are on the second floor with another full bath. There is also a washer and dryer in the house. We have just added wireless internet service and a telephone.
The river is approximately 400 feet from the house. The property is very wooded and there is 650 feet of river frontage on the property. The Saco River is extremely clean for swimming and has a sandy bottom. It is a wooded river bank setting.

The house was just as described.. away from it all.. we had a great getaway weekend with our dog.. the owners were very responsive and let us check in early which was fantastic! I would definitely stay there again
A group of us stayed here for a ski trip for my boyfriend's birthday. Everyone kept telling me they felt right at home. This place is cozy and relaxing and has everything you need (plus a hot tub). Convenient to the ski resorts but secluded enough to be a real escape from it all. Susan was very accommodating and answered all of my questions. She even let us arrive early in the day and stay later our final day.
My family really enjoyed staying at this lovely home. We enjoyed our week skiing at Shawnee peak and King Pine. We also went ice fishing, I hired Ron from orionoutfitter.net to take my family ice fishing. He made it easy to enjoy as well as teach the kids the ins and outs of ice fishing. We snow shoed with the kids down to the river on the property finding many different animal tracks in the snow. We had a relaxing day and shopped in North Conway. The house location is great. Approx 25 min to both ski areas as well as North Conway. The kitchen was well stocked with all the kitchen gadgets I needed to cook some delicious meals for my family. The hot tub felt so nice to ease our achy skiing bodies. The wood stove was easy to maintain and a great place to sit infront of to start and end your day. I definitely would recommend this place.
This was a gorgeous house with a wood burning stove, comfortable living room, and great hot tub. The place is well taken care of, and there are useful instructions for hot tub use and other pertinent information left around the house. It was easy and no-fuss, very scenic and quiet location, and Susan and Craig were very nice and helpful (and accessible when we ran into a hot tub snafu!). Would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay very much! The home was very clean and cozy. We made a nice fire in the wood stove and it heated the whole house nicely. The hot tub was very clean and an inviting retreat after a full day of skiing! The kitchen on well equipped with pots and pans and everything you could need for a family meal. The surroundings are serene and beautiful. We'd love to come back sometime and explore the property in the summer or fall! Thank you for making our family vacation a great one!
This place is great far from everything yet close enough to. Nice and isolated and a short walk to the Saco river. About 15 mins to fryburg and a half hour from North conway. A great place I look forward coming here in the summer. I'm just here with my girlfriend but there is plenty of room for many more. The owners are great there is a snowstorm coming down and we asked if we could leave later than checkout and they had no problem with that with makes it a lother easier when u don't have to rush our during a storm. Overall a great experience!
