Location of property was excellent - especially if you're planning on catching the Real Journey cruise to Doubful Sound - you literally walk out of the front door and down the jetty. The property itself was a bit basic - no broadband or dishwasher and just 1 bathroom. However the lounge area was comfy and there was a nice balcony which got a lot of sun. Fine for a family of 4, but was a stretch for group of 7
Beautiful location with great access to the Fiordlands. Getting there was quick and easy with a pick up of our keys from Possum Lodge located only 2 minutes from the house. We had booked for 6, but only ended up being 4 people and were given a discount. Beds were very comfortable and house was equipped with all cooking equipment needed. Great stay.
The property is roomy and has a great view from the kitchen window. It is in a good position near the point of departure for the Sound.
It is not suitable for older people or children. There is a dangerous stair/ladder from the living, kitchen and main bedroom area to the bathroom. There is another bedroom downstairs but it is still necessary to use the stair in the day.
Great place, warm, clean, comfortable and everything we needed. Lovely view and nice garden.
Great house and location. Loved the views and enjoyed the new shower.
Once the garden/hedges grow up around the edges of the garden, it will improve the privacy. Would have liked to spend more time enjoying the ambience of the place, but we were on a mission to get to Milford Sound.
