Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental managementthings like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a websitecould be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Our family enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this beautiful home!
Road to the place is rough. The view is ok. It is quiet and homey. Oceanside is a great place to stay and travel up and down the coast. Good places to eat. This Schooner in Netarts is a good place to eat. The clean staff needs to be on their toes.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to get away from the attractions and allowed us to relax and reunite. Much needed time for the girls.
I would have given it 5 stars if not for a couple of things. When we got to the house it was 37 degrees outside and felt even colder inside! We hurriedly turned on all the heaters and shivered literally for 30 minutes. It was so cold we even contemplated getting back into the car for heat. When we first walked in, the house had a horrible musty smell, that we brought home in our clothes and suitcase.
Now for the positive. THE VIEW! The view made it all worthwhile. We could hear the ocean. The house has an amazing large deck that we just sat on and watched the ocean. The bed in the master bedroom was crazy comfortable. The pillows were a bit flat. Funny personal pictures in the rooms. I'm not sure why, but the wedding picture cracked me up. The closet in the master was so dark, I had to use my phone's light to dig through my suitcase. The upstairs loft has a couple of couches and a coffee table. An incredibly archaic television that we never turned on. They had a cool old school stereo (think cassette player and turn table). We tried turning it on but the speakers seemed to be blown. So we didn't use that. We had brought our own wireless speakers so we were good. The wifi was great and had no problems with it, even on the deck. No cell service in town though. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner. We were disappointed to see there wasn't a BBQ. This is the PNW - we BBQ in winter :-). The dishwasher wasn't working properly so we hand washed dishes.
The roads going up to the house are rough with huge potholes and uneven. It was a bit difficult to find in the dark but the directions given by Vacasa were awesome! We would definitely stay here again!
It would our third time staying at this property. We enjoyed it as much as the last two times! Thank you very much for sharing place.
The view from the deck is SPECTACULAR!!! You can see all the way down the bay.
The house is well layed out and the kitchen is well appointed.
The only downsides I can see are the small, old TV, horribly uncomfortable couches, and the tinted windows make it very difficult to see outside unless its midday and the sun is bright.
But despite all of that, I would definitely stay again, if for no other reason than the view.
