Great bach. Reminded us of family bach up north. Excellent off road parking on back lawn. Problem of low level hot water did not affect holiday. New hot water element installed the day before we left. The greyhounds loved the place and the extra walks. Great supply of kids toys for young one.
We had such an excellent stay, exactly what we expected, a perfect kiwi batch and in a great location just far enough away from the main street and shops to make it quiet and peaceful. Great property for the dogs, and the batch is practical, relaxed and very homely. Tracey was absolutely wonderful to deal with and we very much look forward to booking this house from her again in the future. THANK YOU TRACEY!!
GOOD PROPERTY FOR A SMALL DOG WHO CHASED A LARGE RABBIT AROUND THE SECTION WHEN WE ARRIVED,A COUPLE OF TAPS MAY NEED A LOOK AT.
SEEMED A CLEANER, BRIGHTER PLACE THAN THE PREVIOUS STAY HERE
WOULD CONSIDER STAYING HERE AGAIN AFTER A GREAT STAY THIS TIME
It was only a short walk to the shops and beach. I just felt the house in general needed some TLC. The bedding needs to be aired and there are vines growing through the walls.
Taps not working properly, tap itself falling off whenever you use it. Switches in bunk room do not work. Three lamps and only one working. One lamp had a 100 watt bulb in it and began to smolder. Lamp underneath said no more than 60 watt but didn't check the wattage before turning on. No one available to advise at Akaroa rental homes - The property was clean. Location was Ideal.
Have stayed here before, like the improvements they have done to the property. We like the location as it's very peaceful and quiet yet still so handy to town
