Musty and Buggy

Reviewer Comments:

While a unique experience, the tipis was very musty and had lots of bugs inside. The must smell was overbearing and made it hard to sleep. The bugs inside would only come out at night. The bathrooms are separate. You have a dedicated bathroom but they are dirty. Our shower had hair all over the walls and dirty floors. On the positive, the tipis have a very warm and inviting feeling due to the outside space: hammock, grill, fire pit, and chairs. The tipis are also close to the river, easy walk, with a sitting area. Very nice for the kids to swim and play while the adults sit and watch. I wouldn't stay again but it was a good one-time experience.

Lacking Attention to Detail

Reviewer Comments:

The good: The tipis were in good shape. The location was great. Nice to have fire pits. There were plenty of chairs and a picnic table. The game room was nice. The bathrooms were clean. The bad: I booked 2 tipis 6 months in advance. At the time I could've chosen any of the tipis so I chose tipis 1 and 2 thinking there was no difference between the tipis because they all had 3 queen beds. Unfortunately 1 of my tipis only had 2 beds and a sofa bed. It would have been great if the person that booked our reservation would've told me. Others misses: many light bulbs needed to be replaced. The tipis smelled. The smoke detectors were disconnected. The tvs in the game room didn't work. The ping pong table was torn up. There were no board games in the game room. 4 remotes were missing batteries. The towels were old, worn, and smelled. Because of the lack of attention to detail we won't be back.

It was such a fun experience at the tipis! We loved the river and the fact that it was a little tiny bit of a hike for the kids. We would've been so nervous if it was right on the river. The river was absolutely breathtaking! So much fun.
