Great stay at coconut where the employees were very prevenant. The room was clean and very spacious for 5 people (2 adults, 2 children and a Baby). The pool was also pleasant. Everything was nice and there are shops and beach near.
Hotel and pool was nice; very family friendly. Only complaint I would have is that it feels like there's a curfew at night. They give you a "loud" warning and with your second notice you are evicted. So don't plan to sit by the pool at night and hang out for much after 9pm or you may get a warning. Other than that it was nice and the staff was friendly.
We were looking for a suite and this place fit the bill. Nice pool and nice employees. There are no elevators so you will need to haul luggage upstairs. The structure does lend its self to noise from the neighbors and pool area. Overall a good stay.
The stay was not bad, it was quiet and clean. The kitchens were fully functioning. The staff was friendly. The downside was that the pool area was dark & room service was by request not everyday. There was 1 older washer & dryer and only 1 ice machine. The beach access was close but not right across the street. Walking with little kids was a bit of a struggle to get to the access. My husband didn't care for the beds as they were extra firm.
Overall the experience was awesome! The pool and area were great! The short walk to the beach area was ok. FREE rides that were offered helped take a lot of stress off! Plenty of activities near the resort. Quite and clean. The staff were all very accomodating. The only downside was when we first walked into the bedroom there was a huge cockroach on the wall. :/ we didn't see any after that but it was still on our minds.
The staff was helpful from the moment I made the reservation. I asked for special consideration for a quiet room because of a sleep disorder and they called to see how they could best help. We had a few small problems while there and they fixed everything. Great attitude. The room was as described, clean and in excellent condition. We liked being off the main drag because the nighttime and early morning is peaceful and quiet. It is across the road from the beach and we enjoyed the small beach at their sister property about 100 yards away. We did walk to the main beach, about a 10 minute walk, for sunset. Plenty of good restaurants around. Right across the Clearwater Pass bridge is the Sand Key Park and Beach that always has plenty of room to park. We are birders and saw three types of plovers, a sandpiper, flocks of sanderlings, ruddy turnstones, ri-colored, great blue and little blue herons, an oyster catcher, three kinds of terns, three kinds of sea gulls, great white and snowy egrets, and an assortment of other birds around the park. We will stay here again!
For this price u cannot go wrong. Distance to the beach is minimal. Everything needed is the and more. They could work on WiFi connection cause it socks. Other than that it's so enjoyable, it has been my third visit there in 3 yrs.
