I'm a 'young' lady in my late fifties who enjoys sharing her passion for Bruges.
I'm a globetrotter myself.
Hessels Tine purchased this apartment in 2013
This city mansion has belonged to my family for years. When younger, my brothers and myself all used to live in one of the apartments. Gradually we all moved as we started having children ourselves. My parents still live in one of the apartments on the first floor. The studio's are all on the ground floor.
Right in the tourist center of Bruges with all the hustle and bustle just around the corner, yet extremely quiet as the studio is situated at the garden side of the mansion. You only need a good pair of shoes to explore the city. And if your feet get tired, the bikes are waiting for you to cruise the city in a relaxed way.
Free city map and lots of information about hidden gems in the city.
Garden with terrace to enjoy the sun and/or eat outside on warm, sunny days.
Great place and great location near underground parking
Perfect location, apartment was perfect size. Check in was easy and people were very helpful
We loved this apartment! It is pretty small but very well laid out to make sure everything we needed was there. And it was great to be able to borrow bikes to use around town! We'd definitely stay here again if we ever visited Bruge again!
We had a lovely time in Bruges. Our studio apartment was beautiful. It had everything we needed, was tastefully furnished and very homely and was situated in the very heart of Bruges. I highly recommend it - the perfect city bolthole.
This is a very small apartment located just down a short alley next to the fish market--which is only a fish market a couple of mornings a week. The rest of the time, it's a gathering spot--mostly in the evenings--with live music, food stations and wine and beer. A very fun spot! Bruges is tiny, and from this flat you can see everything on the list of "must does" within a five or ten minute walk. We checked in at the hotel around the corner, and the folks there are very nice, but don't seem too well versed on the particulars of the "bed and breakfast"--which, in spite of the name, does not include breakfast. The stairs to the loft are steep but even my husband, who walks with a cane, found them negotiable. We were only in Bruges for four nights, so the flat was fine. But be aware, if you are planning to stay longer, as there is practically no place for your things. The bathroom is tiny--shower in the same stall as the toilet and sink. No place for toiletries except a small glass shelf above the sink, The room had a wardrobe, but it had two hangers, and was too shallow to really hang anything in. There were several shelves in it, so we put out toiletries and underwear and such there. There were hooks on the wall in the loft, but nobody is going to haul their stuff up a flight of steep stairs just to hang it on a hook. No place for suitcases, so thankfully we travel very light--only two carry-ons, which resided on the floor of the kitchen while we were there. Bottom line is, well situated and comforable for a day or two, if you're happy to live out of a suitcase and not unpack.
The luxurious studio at the Breydelhof residence is situated on the ground-floor of a classified mansion right in the very heart of the old city center, close to the Market Square, Burg and Fish market. It is a haven of peace and comfort after an exciting day of culture, art, shopping and culinary delights.
The 3 luxury studios are facing a quaint city garden to guarantee a night of undisturbed rest. Are you looking for a romantic setting full of charm and discretion? Then you are at the right place.
