Cozy house on a hillside in Vermont looking at the Green Mountains. Well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms comfortable. Short drive to Willoughby Lake. Enjoyed some dramatic sunsets.

Beautiful views, cozy cabin

  • 4 of 5

Passed a peaceful and contemplative 2 weeks at Jeremy and Steph's lovely cabin this spring. Views were magnificent, cabin very comfortable, wildlife sightings included bears, coyote (wolf?), deer and pheasants. The owners were extremely accommodating and friendly. Looking forward to returning in the fall...

Absolutely wonderful! Perfect get away.

This was our first time renting from someone's home. We were fed up of the motel in Island Pond over charging us for a crappy stay. We are so glad we chose this property. 1st our truck was at the dealer before we left. We received a large storm that shut down the state in CT. So we could not come up on the date we had planned. The owners were wonderfully accommodating. We arrived a day late and left a day late. We had an issue while we were there and they took care of it ASAP! Things happen but what matters is they took care of it right away. We stayed with our 2 kids. It was perfect for them to play on our Kitty Kat sled. The road is very quite with access to the VAST trail system. Which meant we did not have to travel to parking lot to ride. Which made everything easy! There was internet and cable and a phone. The phone was great because cell service is spotty it that area of the state. We will defiantly be staying there again. I would highly recommend this place to families, a couple and to anyone actually. People with disabilities the house is all on one floor. Though there are a couple steps to the deck. But once you get past that it is all level. The kitchen is open to the living room so moving around is easy. The bathroom is smaller so if you are in a wheel are it may be difficult. But otherwise the home is great.
