My husband and I stayed here for four nights in September. The apartment, which is exactly as shown in the photos, is very clean and comfortable and has everything you could need during your stay.

Paola is a great host and provided us with lots of very helpful information regarding Rome and the local area both before we arrived and when we met her on the day we arrived.

The apartment is located within easy walking distance of all the main attractions and there are lots of great restaurants nearby and a daily market. We eat at Bucatino twice and found the food very good and reasonably priced.

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment and will definitely stay here the next time we visit Rome.

Beautiful, comfortable & clean. Highly recommend.

Beautiful apartment. It has everything would need. Great location to sight seeing all within walking distance. Also, very close to bus, tram & metro. Grocery store, deli, bakery and restaurant all within a block. Paola spend time with us on our arrival to explain on a map how to get to all attractions and told us what bus/tram/metro to take to get there if we didn't want to walk. Then Paola took us for a walk in the neighbourhood pointing out grocery store, deli, bakery, restaurants. Thank you Paola, you made our trip amazing !

Paola met us promptly at the apartment and provided extensive details on the apartment, Testaccio, and Rome. The apartment is quiet and well furnished. We loved the market, restaurants and bars. You can walk to the majority of the Roman sites. Thank you Paola for your hospitality!

Owner's Response: First of all I want to thank you for such a nice and kind appreciation. In regard to the elevator: if I have well understood what you told me it was not working the night BEFORE your departure, as you may remind the day of departure we were altogheter and the elevator was working; probably in the harry you have forgotten that my husband helped you taking out the luggages. I'm sorry that for 1 night over 20 nights of stay, someone has left the door open and tthe elevator was occasionally not working, as you surely understand this not my fault. Anyway: the apartment is located at the second not the 4th floor! I hope to have you again as my dear guests having appreciated your kindness and politness. Warm regards, Paola & Massimo

Paola er en omsorgsfuld vært, kvarteret meget autentisk, og lejligheden er velindrettet.

Beliggenheden giver fine muligheder for at opsøge såvel det mere turistede som det mere landlige.

Testaccio Gem

  • 5 of 5

We are so glad we rented an apartment, no less in the food-tour suburb of Testaccio. From the warmest of welcomes, Paola greeted us at the front of the apartment building and gave us all the tips and instructions on how to use everything in the apartment, to the final goodbye espresso at Pasticeria Barberini, we had the absolute best time in Rome. What's great about the apartment is the location and proximity to all things that matter to us - great food, super clean and well equipped apartment, an ever helpful host and a compendium of information about what to see in Rome, where to eat, how to get tickets to museums. We had a small issue with an ATM on the day we were leaving and Paola helped tremendously to translate and resolve the issue with the bank in the morning. If you love food, and really want to get a sense of the everyday life in Rome surrounded by great trattorias and the Testaccio Market, look no further than this lovely apartment.
