Growing up in the area has given me the opportunity for a great appreciation of 'Niagara Falls, NY' The beauty, sounds and energy, etc. Perry and I own and operate a bed and breakfast around the corner from this property. (The Elizabeth House)
perry purchased this house in 2013
We have listened to our Bed and Breakfast guests from around the world. They love the peacefulness, park like setting, nature, and roar of the 'Falls' Great location for families and friends to enjoy there stay by 'Niagara Falls'.
When you open the front door and can see the 'Mighty Niagara River' and the 'State Park Sign'….we were sold on the property. The historical homes on the street takes you back to the early 1900's. A large grassy park area separates the home from the river. Don't forget your fishing pole there is trout and salmon in this river.
Comfortable heritage property, as described, provided an excellent start to our holiday and let us relax and recover from jet lag, whilst exploring the area. Perry was extremely accommodating when we were let down by VRBO; thanks Perry.
This was our first visit to New York State and we couldn't have been happier. First off, thank you to Perry for a wonderful stay and having an outstanding home. This is a great place with great character, lots of room, and wonderful amenities. All our needs were provided for and the home definitely hit the spot. There was ample space in all three bedrooms, a fantastic family room, good dining area, and a very nice kitchen. No issues with parking and one of the biggest features is that you are about a 20 minute walk from the falls itself. From door to the edge of the American Falls. You will save on parking, just leave the car at home. The week we went, the weather was hot and humid, but the house was cool and very comfortable. Windows units are used, but they were more than up to the task. We will definitely stay again!
This is a lovely old home that has been returned to much of its glory. Plenty of room for your family with common area for bonding time. On the bike path, which when completed, will take you straight to the Falls. We walked to the US Falls and could have gone over to the Canadian side without too much effort. The owner was very helpful and cordial, answering phone calls and emails to give suggestions and help.
It was just like a home away. Three couples enjoyed our stay in at this homey house. The front porch has a great view of the river. The location is right on the bike trail, which is being redone. It will be great when finished. An easy bike ride and we were at spectacular views of the Falls.
Our family of 8 loved staying in a historically-rich spacious home during our trip to Niagara Falls! We were able to walk along the path to the Falls, cook our own meals and do laundry! We had a wonderful 3-day stay.
The home was spacious, well-appointed, and in a quiet neighborhood conveniently located within a short walk to Goat Island and the falls. The rental process was seamless and the owner was helpful with suggestions for attractions in the area. While we were there only 2 nights, we were so comfortable and relaxed we could have stayed longer. We will definitely stay again when in the area.
Niagara Falls State Park Attractions within a five - ten minute walk. Buffalo is a short drive with great restaurants, festivities, etc. Town of Lewiston is close by and very quaint with Seasonal Festivities. Fort Niagara is a guest favorite.
