Lovely Island Style home with inviting lanai area and private pool surrounded by beautifully landscaped garden, located within short walking distance to the world famous Kailua beach and short drive to Lanikai Beach. The main house has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, with modern kitchen and spacious, open dining/living room. The “ohana” studio cottage has private bathroom and kitchenette. Main house and “ohana” cottage will be rented as one unit for your enjoyment.
This new house presents the perfect setting for a relaxing family vacation right in the heart of the wonderful Kailua community, adjacent to the beautiful Kailua beach, and with easy access to the airport and the entire island. Handsome furnishings throughout and thoughtfully equipped for the vacating guests.

2 Twins in the den to the right of the main entry. They cannot be made into a king.

This house perfectly accommodated 3 young family's. The kitchen and pool were wonderful, and the nearby beach is world class. We will be back!
Aloha, our stay at Hale Mahina was fabulous! It was the perfect home for 10 people! The main house had 4 bedrooms and a den with 2 day beds, and the air conditioned Ohana house with 2 twins, and another bathroom. The home is beautiful and the Kailua location was terrific. A very short walk to Kailua beach, which is never crowded and wonderful for long walks on the beach. The kitchen is very nice, and the home is spacious. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. The lanai and pool are gorgeous! We had many bar-b-que dinners which was so convenient for a large group. The house had lots of beach towels and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook in. I only wish we could go back again next year!

Hale Mahina served as home for 1 week for the occasion of my mom's 80th birthday. Our party consisted of 3 families (+ birthday celebrant) with kids ranging in age from a 1 yr old to tweens, teens and young adults. Upon arrival, we were impressed by its tasteful decor, cleanliness and spaciousness-- lots of common area in which to spread out both in- and outdoors. At the same time, there were plenty of private spaces (5 bedrooms!) and ample bathrooms (4!) leading to a very comfortable stay. Everyone thoroughly loved swimming in the pool which was amply heated by the warm Hawaiian sun. The location of Hale Mahina was also very convenient for enjoying the beaches of Kailua (across the street!) and nearby gorgeous Lanikai. The owners provide guests with multiple pool/beach amenities: towels, pool toys, sand toys, boogie boards, beach chairs, and coolers. The house even has an outdoor shower to rinse off sand from bodies and beach gear!
We absolutely enjoyed cooking in the large, well-stocked kitchen and we used the outdoor grill a few times as well. Groceries and sundries were very easy to obtain-- Target, Longs, Safeway, Foodland, & Whole Foods are just a short drive away in "downtown" Kailua. We found no shortage of good restaurants nearby (props to Teddy's Bigger Burgers and Haleiwa Joe's in Kaneohe). Honolulu/Waikiki is only ~30 minutes away if desiring to eat at finer establishments.
Finally, I can't conclude without giving big kudos to Trinity Villa Rentals, the property managers for Hale Mahina. From booking to check-in to check-out, they were absolutely professional, accessible, and very easy to work with! Lisa took care of us during our stay and she was very responsive to our all our needs/requests. I would work with them again in a heartbeat and wouldn't hesitate to refer friends to them as well.

Hale Mahina was a clean, spacious home for our family get together. We enjoyed the swimming pool which was quite big. Everyone in the party could have time to themselves in nice bedrooms then gather later out in the pool or in the big living room. The beach is across the street via an access. The kitchen was large and well stocked. Thanks for having us! We loved our stay!. Marian
The pictures of this property did not do it justice. It was beautiful, open and spacious. Everything you could need was included. Beach chairs, boogie boards, towels, lounge chairs in the yard. A couple of different sitting areas in the yard. The Ohana was awesome. The description states it isn't air conditioned but it is. Perfect for a young couple or an elderly couple who enjoys their privacy. We had three families staying at the home a total of 10 people. It was perfect. We could all be together or relax in private.The home was in a nice location and the beach is truly a short walk from the house. It was a beautiful beach and not to crowded. I would definitely recommend this home and would stay there again!

We stayed here in July, 2015 for a family getaway and to celebrate a 40th birthday. We were immediately impressed upon arrival by both the home and the service provided by the rental company. I remember thinking the property looked even better in person than it did in the online photos. The location is a short walk to a gorgeous beach with gentle waves.
The home and attached ohana are extremely clean and well maintained. The landscaping is very lush and definitely adds to the "Hawaii" atmosphere provided by the home. We cooked several meals in both the kitchen and bbq area and were pleased.
Our family would definitely return as everyone had an excellent time. We had a range of ages from 1 year old (she loved the pool!) to 68 (he loved walking to the beach every morning!).
