3 Bedroom , 2 Bath Ocean Block Apartment

Immaculate 3 bedroom, 2 bath apartment on the ocean block in Brigantine, NJ. Children do not have to cross a street to the widest and cleanest beach in New Jersey. Life guards are on duty all summer long.

The kitchen was just remodeled and is fully equipped. Appliances are range, toaster oven, coffeemaker, and microwave. Cable TV and wireless internet are included.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed and attached bathroom. One bedroom has a twin(single) and a futon/bunk bed that can sleep one on top and two on the bottom. A third bedroom has two twins. The living room has a queen-sized sofa bed.

The kitchen has an eat-at counter and the separate dining room can seat 6.

There is an airy front porch with outside seating, a gas grill and shared use of an outside shower. Beach tags(4) and chairs(4) included.

George and Cynthia live near Philadelphia. George is a software engineer and entrepreneur and Cynthia has raised three children. We bought this duplex originally to share with the family and have done that for many years. Now that the children are grown and have children of their own, we have decided to rent out the first floor apartment during the summer months.

Why Cynthia Breen chose Brigantine

We love this place. We originally bought here because of its proximity to Atlantic City. We weren't big gamblers but we liked the idea of being close to the shows, nightlife and entertainment of AC. While we still go over there occasionally and recommend it, we find that we don't need to leave the island to enjoy a good meal or have a good time. The quiet of Brigantine is just as attractive as the bustle of AC. It's a classic throwback to a simpler and safer time.

Steps away from the best beach in New Jersey and the shortest drive from Philadelphia. 33rd st. beach is a wide, clean and protected beach - perfect for families. We are 1-2 blocks walk to fabulous bakery, diners, seafood, butcher, ice cream parlor, wine bar, drug store and beach shopping. There are several other restaurants within blocks for sushi, Greek, Chinese and Italian cuisine. There are plenty of stores nearby including an Acme market and liquor stores. 2-1/2 blocks away is the famous Brigantine Mammal Stranding Center that treats injured seals, sea otters and other animals. The island offers great fishing (surf and boat).

We are a 5 minute cab ride to all of the Atlantic City casinos and attractions so you have the best of both worlds: quiet beach vacation and great night life.

From a sports perspective there are excellent public tennis courts and a links course right on the island. There are a number of places that rent skidoos and fishing boats. A few blocks away is a wonderful recreation area for children including basketball courts, baseball fields and an awesome playground.

We are a short walk to the old Brigantine Hotel that features a beach bar with live music.

You are a short drive to historic Smithville, wineries, the Ocean City boardwalk, the Cape May Zoo and other attractions in South Jersey.

Great place!!

We loved this place!!! Great location for the beach!! Wonderful 3 bedroom place. The only complaints are there was no DVD player or blender and sliders to the front porch didn't really work. House is clean and very good overall!!

Owner's Response: We appreciate the feedback and take our guests' recommendations seriously. We installed new patio doors, so no more sticky sliders! We will add a DVD player and a blender for the coming season. Hope you consider staying with us again this summer!
