The Rudy's have traveled throughout the U.S and other countries. But Colorado has always held a special place in our hearts. We have enjoyed skiing, hiking, dog sledding, fishing and even just relaxing in the hot tub watching the stars at night.
Ken Rudy purchased this chalet in 1998
We purchased this property in 1994 because it was located in the mountains yet it was close to a big city (Colorado Springs). We enjoyed it so much we decided to build the chalet on the property along with our personal residence. We have found the chalet to be a blessing, not only to us but to those who have visited.
The chalet is close to everything one comes to the mountains to enjoy.
Staying at the aspen Grove Chalet is a very peaceful experience and is a great retreat from the pressures of everyday life. It is surrounded by beautiful aspens and pines with colorful floral displays throughout the decks and parking areas. It is quiet for personal rest and relaxation but is not far from local points of interest. It is both clean and cheery and the owners are very accommodating. It gets my highest rating.
Stayed two nights peaceful relaxing ,the view beautiful A great location . nice and clean
We are 2 couples who stayed here for 4 nights. The location is good and very quiet, beautifully surrounded by the forest. The owners were very accommodating and accessible, as they live next door to the chalet. The loft bedroom upstairs was comfortable but the sleeper sofa was not--the mattress is so thin, all you could feel was the metal bed frame; they had to make a bed on the floor each night. Other than that, we enjoyed staying here.
Stayed for 2 nights with some friends as we attended a men's retreat. The location is great, close to Woodland Park yet out of town enjoying the peace and quiet of the mountains. It was very comfortable and clean with a nice kitchen, hot shower and plenty of linens. Everything was well stocked and in great shape.
Conveniently close to WP, and the unit was in great condition; clean and everything worked well. Much nicer (and more fun) than staying in a hotel, and a very comfortable alternative to camping.
We stayed in the chalet for the weekend and it was a great place to stay. Very peaceful and quiet! Both nights we saw deer walking through the yard. The owners, Ken and Kathy, were great. Will definitely be back again!
