Ocean is just a few steps away, however more seaweeds than we wanted when we were there but still able to enjoy it! Very nice view front patio for outdoor eating but very close to neighbor. Good service from the owner and would for sure recommend this villa for family vacations!
Once we were able to locate the condo, we were very pleased. Be aware that your gps will lose its mind trying to find the place once you enter the complex. When we walked in the door we were disappointed that the description of "gentle ocean breezes" did not mean air conditioned. It was a horribly hot afternoon... And there was one standing fan running in the corner of the living room. Long story short, in my cranky state of mind, I sent the owner a text message describing the lack of working fans in the condo. Well... Later that evening there's a knock at the door, and there is the owner with three brand new fans! One stand up and two box fans!! I couldn't believe it! We set up the fans in the two screened sliding doors at opposite ends of the upstairs bedrooms, and it immediately cooled down the rooms! I even slept with a blanket! And for a menopausal woman, that's a big deal.
The beds were very comfortable. The washed and dryer were a big plus. As was the dishwasher. Enjoyed having three TV sets also.
As described, the beach was a minute walk away! Beautiful , uncrowned beach! Loved sitting on the balcony in the morning looking out onto the ocean. Nice walking trails. Short walk to the marketplace and the Raw Bar. We had our 4 year old grandson with us , and he enjoyed himself immensely. There were a few plastic beach pail and shovels for him, and a couple of beach chairs for us.
The only things that would make this place perfect would be AC and an outdoor shower. ( I didn't see any outdoor showers in the complex, so I assume they're not allowed?)
I'd recommend this place for families with young kids! Very kid friendly.
The owner checked with me several times to see how things were going. That was very nice of her!
My sisters and I had a wonderful time at this beach cottage!! The location was perfect. Very comfortable beds. We could see the ocean from the front patio. Close to shops and grocery stores. Looking forward to returning.
My wife and I stayed her over a long Labor Day weekend. We could not have been more satisfied and impressed by the property and the New Seabury community. Maushop Village, the part of New Seabury in which this rental is located, is a nice, quaint community of beach cottages. The layout of the community and the walkways reminded us of a European village. We enjoyed sitting on the patio looking at the ocean and just sitting in the living room with the doors open and the ocean breezes blowing through the living room. I'm a runner and like to run, even while I'm on vacation, and the New Seabury community had some great trails that winded through the woods and along some of the roadways. I highly recommend the trails for walkers or runners. We also enjoyed the New Seabury market place that was within walking distance. Great little area of shops and restaurants for a quick bite - also very kid friendly - they had live music during the Labor Day weekend at night and it was filled with families and lots of young kids dancing to the music. If you're looking for a nicer restaurant, the Popponesset Inn was great and we also got a some really good meals in Mashpee. The Mashpee Commons was a really nice area of shops and restaurants that we enjoyed several times while staying here. I really don't think wife and myself could have asked for a better place to stay during our long Labor Day weekend. It was our first trip to Cape Code and a very memorable one. We have already discussed how nice it would be to go back!
We really enjoyed our stay at this cute townhouse in New Seabury while staying in Cape Cod for 4 days in September. We loved sitting out on the patio in the evenings to eat dinner--so beautiful. The townhouse has everything you need and it is in a lovely part of Cape Cod. Hope to come back some day!
Very happy with the rental. Nice furnishings and exactly what we were looking for. Would highly recommend.
