Retired from motion picture industry. Enjoy the arts and travel. Just purchased a small house in the Italian ancestral village of my grandparents.
Lisa purchased this studio in 1987
Chris and Lisa have an amazing studio. They we're both very nice and friendly. I had a late (1 am) check in which they accommodated with ease. Would highly recommend staying here. A quick drive gets you to downtown Santa Barbara, but you are far enough away that it is very quiet at night!
My girlfriend and I celebrated her birthday with a Montecito getaway weekend and the studio was the perfect place for us. It was an easy 15 min uber/lyft to and from the unit to Santa Barbara and close to hiking and incredible views of the mountains.
We met Lisa and her daughter during our stay and they couldn't have been more accommodating. They gave us some recommendations for the weekend and made us feel very welcome.
The studio is nicely appointed with everything you could need. The outdoor area was a nice plus and the steam shower was a great way to start each day.
We attended a concert at the Arlington Theatre on State Street, got dinner at Lark and Loquita in the Funk Zone in Santa Barbara, went for a hike to the Hot Springs in Montecito, and checked out a few wineries and bars and restaurants throughout the weekend.
The trip made for a perfect escape from LA for us and the studio was the perfect home base for our stay. Thanks to Lisa and family for making it special for us. We had a great trip and would definitely recommend this property to anyone considering visiting Montecito or Santa Barbara. We hope to be back again soon.
Lisa and Chris are excellent hosts, the studio is pristine. We'll definitely stay here again for any upcoming trips to SB.
Just in for the weekend and wish we could have stayed longer. Would book again and recommend to friends visiting the area. Small patio was perfect for morning coffee. The drive into town is a quick and beautiful. Tough to beat.
It was great having our own patio and views of the mountains. The studio is beautiful with very comfortable seating and bed. There is plenty of storage and a lovely bathroom. It's nice having the big TV and cable. Everything is well designed and high quality. We spent almost a week here and did not want to leave!
The studio in Montecito is new, very clean, and beautiful. The hosts are lovely and very helpful if you are looking for activities in and around Santa Barbara. We can definitely recommend staying in this place.
