About Martha Ramage

We live in Texas and can't be at the Cape all the time. I have been there in every month of the year and love each month. The summer has plenty to do - the rest of the year there aren't so many visitors and it is quiet and peaceful.

Martha Ramage purchased this house in 2009

Why Martha Ramage chose Harwich - Harwichport

This house looks brand new and is kept pristine. It is our home and we have set it up with all the amenities of our home in Texas. When I cross the Sagamore Bridge, I breathe a sigh of relief and know that the real world is behind me and paradise is ahead! We have found the people on the Cape very friendly and hospitable - a welcome respite from the pressure of everyday life in a big city.

What makes this house unique

We knew the minute we looked at this house that it needed to be ours. The previous owners built it and for ten years came every summer for two months. It was built with 'good bones' and we have loved being in it.

Perfect Cape Vacation Home for Multiple Families!

  • 5 of 5

This home is perfect for a family vacation in Harwich! If you have multiple families vacationing together there is plenty of space to accommodate everyone. Located on a quiet street good for riding bikes and taking a nice walk. The house is well equipped with all the essentials you will need, from towels for the beach and towels for the shower to comfortable beds and all the bedding. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need for cooking any meal. Martha is a pleasure to speak with and is extremely organized. An overwhelming favorite at this house continues to be the beautiful outdoor shower!

Beautiful Home!

  • 5 of 5

This is the second year that we have stayed at this amazing home. We have already booked our week for next year. The house is clean, organized and is in such a convenient location. Three couples shared the house. Plenty of room for all of us and each couple had their own bathroom. So perfect! Love Red River beach just down the street. The outdoor shower is such a treat! The owner is so accommodating and lovely to deal with. I am so glad we found this house!

Beautiful house to stay in with family

  • 5 of 5

The house was immaculate and had everything we needed! The kids and grownups loved riding bikes to the beach everyday and going to baseball games almost every night. Making meals at the house was so easy, because Martha had everything so well stocked. This was by far the best house rental that we have had on the cape. Beds were very comfortable, nice towels to use, the grill worked great and every kitchen appliance that one could need. Martha was very helpful and accessible during our trip. We plan to return next summer!

Perfect Getaway

  • 5 of 5

The house and amenities were perfect. The description was spot on and I couldn't have been happier with our stay at the house. We cooked all but 2 meals at the house, enjoyed the walk to the beach and found it a short drive to Chatham for a wedding we were attending. With 7 adults living under one roof for a long weekend, we never felt cramped. I highly recommend this home if your looking for a getaway.

Wonderful Vacation!!

  • 5 of 5

This home was beautiful. Three couples spent a wonderful week in this home. The house is big enough that we were not tripping over each other. The house is clean, had all the amenities necessary for a comfortable week. The owner left organized instructions regarding the house rules. Not once during the week did I use the inside shower! The outdoor shower is lovely. Of course, the weather cooperated. We have all already agreed that we want to go back next year. It was a pleasure dealing with the owner. So excited I found this house.

Notes:
Cape Cod is a unique place away from the rest of the world. There are so many things to do: whale watching in P-Town, seal watching in Chatham, Friday night band concerts, Cape Cod Baseball League, Hyannis Sound concerts, many beaches, unique shopping opportunities, the best food in the world, great biking/running trails, museums, Heritage Gardens, Cape Cod railroad, and so much more. There is a 1800 square foot basement that has a Ping-Pong table and just a place to get away. This is our home and I have a notebook full of things to do and places to go. We come here to get away from the world. I want our guests to enjoy what there is at the Cape and each other. We play games, work puzzles, relax, eat, drink, and be merry. My hope is that you will do the same.
