This was a very nice property. Since we were seeing relatives all over the area, the location was perfect. The yard and home were well kept up. The owner stopped by and he was very nice. The only problem was the A/C went out the last 2 days and unfortunately that is when we needed it most. The owner made it clear that it was not going to be fixed before we leave. The last night was a little rough. Its the only reason we could not give 5 stars. We would stay there again as long as the A/C is working.
We spent the weekend here with two teenage boys and a toddler to see the falls and local attractions. The home had plenty of space for everyone to have privacy and was located very close to everything we wanted to do. It was nice to have a quite place to relax at the end of the night. Our only regret is that we wish we would have had more time to have a fire in the back yard and relax a little more. If you are visiting the NY side of the falls get the discovery pack at the visitors center and pay for everything at once. It saves a ton of money. Also make sure to stop at Fort Niagra and Shrine of the Fatima.
Location use to everything
We highly recommend your stay here..very clean.. fenced backyard for the pups..very comfortable ..felt very safe here., friendly neighbors ..looking forward to coming back up here again. Only 10 min to niagra falls..owner very helpful
Convenient yet quiet location
The house was in the perfect location for a vacation to Niagara Falls. It was close enough to dining and attractions, but still had the small town feel. It had everything we needed for our stay. The back yard was nice and completely fenced (a plus since I was traveling with a toddler). The biggest drawback was that the bath only had a shower and no tub, but had I not had a small child with me this wouldn't have been an issue either. The bathroom was actually REALLY nice and we made it work.
The property is nice and the owner as well
Great location, super relaxing home.
Every detail is accounted for in this elegant but unpretentious home (e.g. a collection of brochures for local attractions sits neatly on a dining room side table). Tastefully modern interior with plenty of space to sit down after a day exploring the Niagara River Gorge. A quick drive up to Lake Ontario for the sunset followed by a scoop or two at the Silo in Lewiston was our favorite combo. The price is quite reasonable, and owner Joe is a pleasure to work with. This is among our best finds in 15 year of using VRBO.
