Gorgeous. Well-maintained. Terrific location.
We had a great couple getaway. For two people, the house is huge but we loved it. We enjoyed the hiking trails on the property, the super comfortable living space, a well-stocked kitchen (including spices, dish soap, and trash bags), and lovely outdoor seating and hot tub.
We highly recommend. We will be back with our adults kids and their spouses for a family getaway at some point.
We also had our dog with us on this trip. She loves it too. Asheville is such a dog-friendly place. We took her with us to NC Arboretum and to lunch as one of the many excellent microbreweries.
This Lodge met all our expectations and we had a wonderful week with Asheville so close. It is private, and the sleeping accommodations were certainly adequate. I miss it already.
Perfect house. Lovely setting
House was beautiful and comfortable. Walking trails very accessible. We will definitely be back!
A wonderful house for our girl’s weekend!!
Loved the floor plan and very, very peaceful. The hiking was great, too!!
Wonderful mountain house with luxurious amenities!
Our family of five enjoyed the serenity of the Lodge. It was awesome having trails on the property. We enjoyed th hot tub, fire pit and ping pong table each night. Olympics viewing in the comfy den was perfect. Fabulous kitchen and bathrooms too. Location was great as it was remote and not too far from downtown Asheville. We highly recommend this property!
Beautiful and secluded
My son was getting married in Asheville, so we wanted a place for our family to stay. The Lodge was very big, with plenty of room to spread out, clean and inviting. And to our surprise, it was also located on the same property as the house the bride's family had booked. This was very convenient but the houses were also not right on top of each other as the property is very big. Booking was easy and my questions were always answered quickly. Dog-friendly. The only word of advice I would give to anyone is to make sure you get all the info you need to enter the house before you get to the house. Phone service with our carrier was non-existent at the house and very spotty in the area. You might also want to use the old-fashioned method of printing out directions before you drive up to the Lodge, just in case you lose service. Once inside the house, you can connect to the WiFi and text others if you don't have service.
Enjoy hiking on our property or on numerous hiking trails around Asheville.
