Wonderful Place in Como
Perfect location in Como, less than a 5 minute walk to lake. Andrea and Cecilia had the apartment stocked with food staples like eggs and milk and coffee plus snacks!! They were so friendly to accomodate us during our stay. Cecilia picked us up from train station, which is less than a 10 minute walk to apartment, but it was so nice to have someone meet us since we were new to the area. Apartment was very clean and comfortable!! I would definately stay again!
Great location with fully stocked apartment
We had a great time in Como and this apartment was a big part of it. It's in a central location but tucked away a bit so it was quiet. We had everything we needed and it was nice to have the basics stocked so we didn't have to buy everything for a short stay -- although it was fun to go to the supermarket just a short walk away. The apartment is charming with high ceilings and a renovated bath. It was very nice of Franco to give us a lift to the train station since it was raining the day we left - it's a short walk but we would've been soaked even with an umbrella. Highly recommended!
Excellent property in a great location. Loved the bikes and were appreciative of the thoughtfulness of our hosts incl the lift from the train station and welcome food pack.
Very comfortable apartment, close to restaurants and shops and centrally located for trains, ferries
Very comfortable apartment with all amenities. Located close to restaurants and shops and transport. Few minutes walk to train station, water ferry and taxis.
Great apartment in historic Como centre -- close to everything!
The apartment was lovely, and Andrea's mother, who lives upstairs, was very helpful, as was Fleur, who checked us in. We had a private parking space in a garage around the corner, and we were very close to the lake and ferry station -- and minutes away from grocery store, a wide variety of restaurants, and many historic attractions. This well-appointed apartment, with a terrace on the 2nd floor level (also a lift for all luggage) is wonderful for visiting Como and taking the ferry to visit many other lakeshore towns on Lake Como. The only downside is no air conditioning -- while there were several fans we had 90 - 95 degree F weather all week, and didn't get much cooler in the nights. This rental would be perfect in non-summer months!!
Beautiful apartment, tastefully decorated, spacious, well-located, full-equipped, quiet, clean, comfortable. The best part of renting this apartment is the exceptional service provided by the hosts. Despite travel delays, we were picked up at the train station and driven to the apartment. Instead of arriving late morning, it was nearly 9pm. No complaints from the hosts, we were greeted with a home-made savory tart and a bottle of their private stock of red wine. In the fridge were eggs, bacon, juice and other items for breakfast the next morning. In over 25 years of renting vacation apartments in Europe, this ranks as THE BEST SERVICE EVER!!

Como is a city and comune in Lombardy, Italy. It is the administrative capital of the Province of Como. These celebrities have lived in or owned properties in Como or on its lake: George Clooney - American actor Madonna - American pop singer Gianni Versace - Italian fashion designer Matt Bellamy - lead singer and guitar player of English rock band Muse Ben Spies - American professional motorcycle racer Famous people born or raised in Como include: Caecilius c. 59 BCE A poet, the subject of Catullus's Carmina 35, who had a girlfriend more learned than the Sapphic Muse.
