We had a great stay here! was clean and had more then enough space for 8 guys.
We stayed here at this beautiful house for my wife's birthday. I'm not sure what the previous review saw or maybe they've upgraded since then, but the place was very clean. The kitchen was fully stocked as we love to cook feasts. The downstairs is a total man-cave. A ping-pong table that sits on top of a pool table. I do recommend them getting new pool cues though. A large couch to sit and relax while others are playing. Main area has most of the bedrooms which are very nice. And there's a den upstairs that can fit 4 "average size" adults or perfect for kids. The reason I give it only 4 stars is because there are no Tv's in the main area and they are outdated. Also cooking in the kitchen you have to make sure the sliding doors are open as there are no vents over the gas stove. Other than that, we definitely will be staying here again!
My coworkers and I stayed here this past weekend (July 18-20, 2014). We had a group of 10 adults (with dogs) and the cabin met our basic needs, but I expected more based on the pictures they have posted here.
If you have pets, I guess this place is good enough. But if you don't have pets, you can definitely find something better for the same price. The place smells like dog urine, especially the bluish/gray couches in the living room and the entire basement where the pool table is located. The floors and carpets were pretty dirty. The big windows in the front room are not clean like they are in the pictures. The kitchen is not fully stocked (unlike other rentals). The room with the 4 twin beds is too small for 4 adults and I'm not sure if the sheets were actually washed before we got there. They sure didn't smell "fresh" to me.
Overall, this place is good enough if your'e traveling with pets and have limited options. I wouldn't recommend it otherwise. Let's just say that I have rented several over cabins in Tahoe through VRBO and this one is my least favorite.
