we stayed for Father's Day Weekend. I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the home. No critters, No traps lying around, just new and spotless. Kitchen was fully stocked, and there are tv's in every bedroom! Bathrooms are clean and pretty, and the best part was that the home is actually up a mountain! Very fun driving up it at night! We had a lot of laughs! My teenager loved it and my preschooler did too! My husband thought it was a great deal and we decided to stay again this October! Note that both bathrooms are downstairs, which wasn't a huge deal for us. There are stocked dvd's, and cable which is a must for any teenager who isn't able to snapchat on a family vacation! Overall, beautiful, quiet, and serene. *Tip
Drive up past the home and keep going until you get to the top of the mountain where the older Linderhoft homes are. The view is breathtaking!
We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the house!!! It has everything we needed and was in a great location!! Plenty of room for us and our things.
Large house with lots of public open space, with new finish and amenities. Large rooms and bathroom and a great fully equipped kitchen. Feels very secluded & private, yet very close to stores or the White Mountains. A large balcony to sit on with at drink at the evening. Great for a family or two.
This house is perfect for families, it offers three large bedrooms and a large open kitchen/dining/living area upstairs so you can keep an eye on the kids. The property was very clean, kitchen had all cooking supplies needed if you wanted to stay in, however, it is centrally located to many restaurants and things to do. Less than a 2 minute drive to story land, short drive to North Conway, Echo Lake, and other great things to do in NH. The only thing I found strange was there is not bathroom on the upper level, which made it a little difficult with our three young kids but definitely not a deal breaker. Would highly recommend this property.
This house was exactly as advertised. Private country setting. Clean, everything we needed for my family to relax on our vacation.
We had a great trip and the house is very new and in a great location in the linderhoff area. Unfortunately, when we arrived the cleaning crew had never come for the last renters and there were no fresh sheets available. It was late at night so I did not call until the morning. The owner was very apologetic and did not know why they didn't come. He made sure they came that day while we were out and we had a sparkling house and clean sheets when we came back. I understand this is not the owners fault and he was very responsive and said he would refund the cleaning fee, but it was still unfortunate, especially because we arrived at 10 at night and had to put the kids and ourselves to bed on used sheets. I should have called right away but as I said it was late at night and didn't think anything could be done over the phone. In retrospect, Steve, the owner said he could have given us the key to the owners closet where extra sheets are.
There is a little stream behind the house and we sledded a bit in the yard. It's a nice quiet neighborhood. One other thing to note is that there is no bathroom on the main floor; one downstairs and the other in the master also downstairs. Not a huge deal, but something to know.
