Lovely flat convient to public transportation,delightful pubs and restaurants.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in the rental very much. It was well appointed and had everything we needed for our stay. We liked the convenient location to the earls court tube station, great restaurants and pubs. We certainly will consider staying at this flat again and would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to hang their hat while visiting London. Natalia was very helpful and friendly and answered all our questions without delay.

Like being home again

This is my husband’s & my 2nd stay here. We finished a 14day tour in Ireland and came to Earl’s Court flat. We love this flat for soooo many reasons. It’s clean, it’s comfortable, it has all the amenities one could want. Especially the new washer/dryer. After Ireland we needed to wash clothes & it worked so well. I don’t know why they don’t sell these units in the states. Natalie is wonderful and so accommodating if needed. We love that this flat because it is so close to 2 tube stations making it ever so easy to get around London. Also the bus stops less than a block away&, btw, the tube is, seriously, less than. 2 min walk, what more could you want. Grocery stores and restaurants are all within walking distance. We ate at the Goat restaurant (wonderful, a little farther to walk) also at Pembrooke, a very nice local bar/restaurant. The food was very tasty. We stopped at M&S all the time but there is a Tescos close too. We had breakfast and snacks for the flat to save money and convenience. We will definitely be coming back. LOVE IT? Acceptable Property - Terrible Owner

Pros: The property is nicely located to the Earls Court Tube Station and greater Kensington. It is a quiet neighborhood, close to food and shopping. The interior of the property is modernized and well equipped. This first floor walkup apartment is quiet with little disturbance from the upstairs tenants.

Cons: The owner is not local and not responsive to emergencies. We had an unfortunate event where we lost the keys and it took 13 hours for the owner to respond to our many emails and telephone calls. The local contact she provided us with told us that she had not worked for this owner for over 1.5 years. Because of this, we were forced to stay in a hotel until someone could come over at 3pm the following day. The owner is demanding that she keep five times (270 pounds) the advertised amount (50 pounds) for a lost key.

The apartment book stresses that you should keep all windows closed at night or when away. Security issue? Because of this, the apartment gets hot and stuffy, making it difficult to sleep. They do provide fans but they are loud.

Additionally, the rear door didn't work (safety concern?) and she is demanding almost 400 pounds for damage to the door when in fact we never could open it from the start. She is blaming us because we never contacted her with this notice.

We recommend that you pass on this property because this owner is not local, is not responsive when you need her and she tries to gouge you and keep your security deposit when any kind of issue arises.

Owner's Response: This bitter customer discusses His distorted version of events of the Case he lost. At the end of the review he says that I try to keep the Security deposit, when in fact - I did keep it - I was awarded by HomeAway to keep the money for the damages guest caused. The case was resolved in my favor. £200 Lost key charge is clearly stated on my property page. As ALL of my Reviews state - I am available for my guests anytime they need me.

Charming Earl's Court Flat Offers Perfect Home Base for Site Seeing

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this delightful home nestled in Earl's Court. This charming flat is located within easy walking distance from both the Earl's Court and West Brompton Tube stations, and was only a few tube stops away from the touristy areas of London. This made for the perfect home base for my family of 3 on our first trip to London.

Earl's Court offered a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the areas where tourists flock. I would describe it as an urban residential area, as there are handy shops a short walk from the flat - Boots (pharmacy), Odd Bins (a wine shop), a mini Tesco and M&S (grocery chains) - where we were able to pick up a few items to make simple breakfasts and tea/coffee each morning before heading out. There's also a good pizza place not far as well as our favorite pub of the trip, The Blackbird, where we enjoyed a few meals after long days of site seeing.

The flat was clean and well-decorated. The windows in the living area open to the back enclosed yard area, which lets in plenty of natural light. We found the bed in the bedroom to be very comfortable and the sofa in the living area was fine for one to sleep on. There was also a rollaway bed which we did not use. We did use the floor fans at night for circulation but we were never hot. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom and small toiletries, which were great to have upon our arrival. The kitchen was stocked with the basic serving ware as well as dish soap and paper towels. The washer/dryer combo there was small but perfect for washing a few necessities. We did not use the patio area as much as we had expected, but it did give us the feeling of privacy and was a nice patch of green to look at while the tea is brewing! Overall, the street was very quiet and we all slept well.

Natalia was very responsive to our e-mails prior to the trip and provided excellent service, including some suggestions for dining, shopping, the best route to her flat from the Tube and how best to travel to and from the our airport. We felt very much at home here during our stay and would recommend it to couples or small families visiting London.

Perfect Location, Well Organized Space!

We very much enjoyed our week-long stay here. The flat is a convenient, short, walk to 2 tube stations- making all of London so accessible. It is in a charming and quiet neighborhood with wedding cake style rows of flats and mature trees. The neighborhood has plenty of shops and restaurants close by. The back garden is the perfect jasmine-scented spot for a late-night glass of wine or meal. The furniture is well proportioned to the space, and the bed and sofa are very comfortable. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking and setting a table. As with so much of London, air conditioning is not a feature here, and the flat was very warm after a sunny hot summer day. The small fan provided was definitely appreciated! We considered giving it 4 stars vs 5 only because it was warmer in the flat then our American selves are used to. In the end, we settled on 5 because of the space and location we were able to afford with this flat, vs cooler room temperatures.
