About Nicole Pulliam

Married with four children and now our first grandchild, we lived about thirty minutes from one another through high school, but never met. After his first two years in the Marine Corps my husband and I met at my house through a mutual friend of my brothers. Married in 1989, my husband was stationed on the local Marine Base in Twentynine Palms. We fell in love with the area and when his time in the Corps came to an end, after the Gulf War, we made the area our home.

Nicole Pulliam purchased this house in 2012

Why Nicole Pulliam chose California Desert

This property was chosen for its location to big city life of Palm Springs and small town living of the Morongo Basin... My husband and I wanted to raise our children away from the fast paced lifestyle of big city life while keeping ourselves a hop, skip, and jump away from it. The Morongo Basin offers the home town feel while being centrally located to Palm Springs, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and alike. The best of both worlds with the beauty of the desert landscape. Joshua Tree National Park gives us a great outside adventure only minutes away.

Had a great time!

  • 4 of 5

The property was very clean when we arrived. All the amenities were here as expected, including the great hot tub (awesome to be in a warm bath while the air temperature is very cold!). We enjoyed some hikes in the nearby Joshua Tree NP and spent some time in Palm Springs which is 25 min driving from the property.

The owner was very courteous and professional. A couple small critics: the yard and neighborhood are not very charming and the dining table could be a bit bigger.

Overall, we would totally come back there and we recommend this place to others.

I highly recommend their home. 5 stars!

  • 5 of 5

Lets start with the convenient location. We loved being able to walk to local coffee shops, restaurants etc.... An even bigger plus for us was the short drive to beautiful Joshua Tree National Park and the always entertaining Pappy & Harriets in Pioneertown. There is more than enough room in the clean, updated, beautiful 2 bedroom home. We felt all our needs were met when we cooked and relaxed at home. The home is a peaceful romantic escape from busy city grind. The private Jacuzzi is priceless. I almost regret writing this because it's such a great hideaway, but the owners Nicole and her husband need to know all of their hard work paid off. They've created a fantastic place! It was always a pleasure interacting with Nicole. I really appreciate her kind attentiveness. I highly recommend their home. 5 stars!

Just Book It!

  • 5 of 5

From the moment we walked in, we had no doubt whatsoever that we had chosen our temporary home away from home wisely.

Technologically, the house is equipped with a solid wifi high speed cable internet connection, a convenient security system, and an HDTV with DirecTV DVR and Blu Ray player. An evaporative cooler cools the house quickly and provides comfort against the arid heat of the desert.

The beds and living room furniture are large, comfortable, and restful. The shower and hot tub both have excellent temperature control and pressure.

The kitchen comes equipped with all the appliances and accessories you need to make your own meals and clean up afterwards.

We had the pleasure of staying here for three weeks over two separate trips to attend to business in town. Nicole is an outstanding host who is readily available to quickly resolve any issues or answer any questions you may have. To anyone considering accommodations in the area, we give it our highest recommendation! Just book it!

Great getaway!

  • 5 of 5

Great place - comfortable beds, appealing decor, uncluttered, and very well appointed. We made serious use of the kitchen and it performed splendidly. Close proximity to Joshua Tree -- we went to Hidden Valley; and close to Pappy & Harriett's. Learned, however, that you should reserve at Pappy & Harriett's about three weeks in advance, so check their band selections, and make your reservations there right after making reservations here. Nice little walk to fun shops, a wine tasting room, and a great coffee shop (Ma Rouge -- get the quiche). Thanks so much!

Fantastic!

  • 5 of 5

Sparkling clean house, very attractive interior, in great condition with a lot of lovely amenities. Nicole is a wonderfully helpful host, and she was very careful to make sure that we had everything we needed. We had a great short stay, and next time we will stay longer so that we can make use of the grill and firepit as well. We have already recommended the house to my in-laws.
