Crepe Myrtle is a charming traditional 'old Mobile Bay home'. It is located on Mobile Bay and has been our family retreat for over 30 years. Located 4.5 miles past the Grand Hotel and about 12 minutes from Fairhope, it is close to shopping and restaurants. The approx. 3000 sq.ft fully air-conditioned and heated house includes a large glassed-in porch stretching across the front of the house offering waterfront views with spectacular sunsets. Sit on the outdoor front patio under the old Live Oak trees or take a stroll out on the pier to kayak, swim or crab off the deck. We have 100 feet on the bay with a large manicured front and back yard. Chose from multiple spots within the house for sitting or dining or just getting away from it all. Six flat screen TVs are scattered throughout the house. Cable TV, high speed Internet, wi-fi, and telephone available. The fully equipped, newly renovated kitchen with granite counter tops, includes 2 refrigerators, dishwasher, new convection double ovens, new disposal, gas cook top, toaster oven, microwave, and many small appliances. Washer and dryer located in laundry room off the kitchen. The three bedrooms have 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, and 7 twins are located on the sleeping porch. The master bedroom has a separate bathroom with tub and shower and granite counter top vanities. The guest bathroom has also been newly remodeled with granite counter tops and walk-in shower and is shared by the 2 guest bedrooms. We are very proud of our house and keep it immaculate shape. Unfortunately we are UNABLE TO HOST WEDDINGS, RECEPTIONS, OR OTHER LARGE PARTIES. Occupancy is limited to the 13 registered guests.

Crepe Myrtle has been our family retreat for 33 years. We have spent our summers here raising 2 children to love the Eastern Shore life style and we are now sharing the experience with our 7 grandchildren. The house is perfect for that family reunion or for our Northern friends wanting to escape the winter's cold. There is nothing to compare to the warmth and charm of nearby Fairhope or a visit to the historic Grand Hotel, just 4.6 miles away, for dinner. Indulge in shopping at the nearby Foley Outlet stores, or just stretch your legs on the wide walking and biking path out your back door. Practice your swing at any of the many nearby Robert Trent Jones golf courses.

Our second stay at this perfectly situated bay house near Fairhope. Very well maintained and cleaned, helpful and thoughtful owners with a very nice pier for sunsets. Hope to come back next year if not sooner!
Our family of 10 people (cousins, grandparents, etc...) loved our Christmas at Crepe Myrtle . The house is charming, we loved the central living room for people to gather and the beds were all very comfortable! You have one of the best lots in the area, the trees in front are so wonderful!! The kitchen had everything we needed - it was so helpful to have 2 fridges! We enjoyed dinners on the porch with the view of the water, and card games in the living room. The dock was the perfect place to relax and soak up the sunshine or watch the sunset. It was a perfect trip and we hope to come again!
Our extended family met at Crepe Myrtle for Thanksgiving and it was wonderful! The layout was perfect for our families. The sleeping porch was ideal for the children and the bedrooms and bathrooms accommodated everyone! We had everything we needed in the kitchen for our Thanksgiving cooking and we loved all the dining space options for everyone. It never felt crowded. We had such a great time, we are already planning a trip back for the family! Thank you for thinking of everything anyone might need! It is truly a home away from home and made for some very special memories. We were able to play games with the children, they threw the football in the backyard, plenty of parking for cars, fishing off the pier was fun and accessible for the kids.
We even hired a photographer to come the week of Thanksgiving and the pictures she took of the family on the property are absolutely the most beautiful ones we have had made. Such beautiful moments we were able to capture! Thank you for giving us a place for some cherished memories! Cannot wait to visit again!
The sunsets are not to be missed... truly beautiful! Great customer service! I love how they checked on us to answer any questions and make sure we had everything we needed!
We stayed with our large family 14 in all - 6 adult children with 2 extra guests, three other family members and a 2 year old. Very comfortable home. Indeed, a home away from home! The kids enjoyed the sleeping porch. The beds were all very comfortable. Two bathrooms were tight for all of us, but we managed just fine. The dock was peaceful and fenced in so we could let the baby roam without fear of her falling in the water. We were there for a family wedding. The only problem we had was that we couldn't stay long enough in the home to enjoy it more! Ann was great to work with.
We absolutely loved staying at Crepe Myrtle. The entire home, including outside and dock was well-kept and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The sleeping porch is simply adorable. The view at sunset is spectacular whether you are in the home or on the dock. There is a sidewalk across the street, perfect for morning runs. And you are only a few miles from town. Would highly recommend!
This home was fantastic. So comfortable and charming with an amazing view. Loved it. My grandchildren loved the sleeping porch and swings, and their own private alcove to watch videos.. I loved the incredible view at sunset from the dock and the beautifully decorated and spacious rooms. Ann was a perfect vacation owner. Highly recommend this home for families.
Immaculately manicured large front and back yard, 100 feet on the bay, backdoor access to biking and walking paths all the way to Fairhope. Plenty of off street parking. Just minutes to Gulf beaches, Robert Trent Jones golf courses, and Tanger Center outlet shopping. Stroll the boardwalk in front of the Grand Hotel and visit beautiful downtown Fairhope with its many specialty shops and beautifully landscaped street corners. Sunsets over Mobile Bay are not to be missed while sitting on your own comfortable warf.
