Unit 6A in Blue Tide is a true BEACH FRONT condominium on the ground floor of a small three-story community in the heart of the Emerald Coast, featuring parking, a private pool and private beach access. Located between Seagrove and Rosemary (just a few miles from Seaside), this is the perfect home for your relaxing beach experience! From a spacious living room, you will look out to the breathtaking white sandy beaches and crystal blue waters of the Gulf. Newly renovated with slate flooring, a wall-mounted 42' HDTV, high-speed internet, a Blueray DVD player and brand new furnishings throughout, this unit has been carefully designed to make the most of its amazing location and provide a luxurious home for guests. The large open kitchen is a dream, with brand new cabinets, silestone counter tops and stainless steel appliances (including a double stove and bottom drawer freezers). A KING master bedroom and a sofa bed with a foam mattress provide a comfortable sleeping experience for all.

Here, you are a short bike ride away from the communities of Alys Beach and Rosemary (where you will find outdoor concerts, local art displays and shops and eateries) and close to other beach communities such as Blue Mountain, Dune Allen, Grayton, Water Color and Seaside where fine dining, shopping and a salon/spa can be found. Along 30-A, there are eighteen miles of bike paths. Looking for a day in town? You will be just a few miles from shopping, restaurants, movie theaters, water parks, miniature golf, etc. in Destin (including the largest designer outlet mall in the country in Sandestin). In the opposite direction, Panama City is a short half-hour drive away. The Fort Walton Beach and Northwest Florida Beaches Airports are each less than an hour away.

This beautiful non-smoking condo has been completely renovated (new floors/kitchen/appliances) with brand new furniture, decorated with a cool modern feel perfect for a hot sunny day outside, with a focus on luxurious comfort to maximize your vacation experience. It features a spacious bedroom with KING BED and a comfortable pull out sofa in the large living room, very comfortably sleeping four. From the living room, you can enjoy amazing sea breezes straight from the beach. Stairs down to the beach are just a step away. About Alma

I am a former lawyer turned entrepreneur and avid traveler. My love for travel started right here along 30A. Every summer, my mom would pack my brother and I into the car to drive down from Maryland to visit my great-grandmother in Seagrove Beach, where she and her two sisters had settled decades earlier. Through those trips, I saw 30A grow each year from 18 miles of open forest (yes, even where Seaside is now!) to the thriving collection of beach communities that it is today.

Upon graduation from law school, I settled in New York for many years until my love for the outdoors got the best of me. I have traveled extensively throughout North America, South America, Europe and South Africa, as well as to Australia and Antarctica, with Thailand next on the agenda.

Why Alma chose South Walton

I always knew that when I bought a home, it would be along 30A. Soon after I went to college, my mom moved to Seagrove Beach from Maryland where I grew up. Since then, 30A has not only been a place of childhood summer memories, but also where I go home to visit my family, which extends to more descendants than I can count of my great-grandmother (who had four children) and her two sisters, many of whom also own homes all along 30A.

What makes this condo unique

Having extensively traveled myself, I view my properties as my opportunity to give other travelers the experience that I want when I travel. From soft towels to a responsive host, I want you to have the experience that I would want and, if you don't, I really do feel your pain and will do all I can to fix it. From the beginning, I have closely managed everything about my properties, including designing and decorating, and building the furniture myself (with some able assistance from friends and family!) Helping me in the day to day management are my mom and my lovely housekeeper, both of whom live only a short drive away. There is no management company standing between you and the owner, and my focus is on you, not shuttling guests through hundreds of properties. This is a personal effort and we will do everything we can to make sure that you have a wonderful trip.

Not as nice as expected

When we arrived the unit was suppose to be cleaned and ready by 4:00 checkin. It was not and it was 5:30 before it was cleaned and ready. The unit needs to be updated. The toliet seat was broken and the shower curtain had mold on it. We were given very few towels to use and only two hand towels. The towels were also mismatched and need to be replaced. The walls in the bath and kitchen had places where they needed to be painted. The microwave was old and had stains inside. The outside porch furniture was mismatch as well as the cushions all torn and old. There were lamps with no light bulbs. All of the linens for the beds and curtains need to be updated. When we arrived the wifi would not work but Alma was on top of it trying to help find the problem. Alma seemed to be very concerned about being quick to respond to needs. The unit just was not what I was hoping for as far as it being clean and updated. The view was great but the accommodations were just not up to par for the area.

We are all about the view, and Alma's place has it!

As soon as we walk in and see and hear the ocean right out on our patio, we go "Ahhhhhh, we're at the beach." We were out at the beach paddle boarding in the calm beautiful morning, boogie boarding the waves in the afternoon and enjoying the sunset in the evening as the moon rose opposite it. The unit has everything you need or want..... from quartz countertop, nice frig, double oven to a washing machine that also dries your clothes! Alma is a pleasure to correspond with and is so responsive to any questions. We will choose to stay at her place when we travel to 30A again.

Luxurious True Beachfront - Completely Renovated! in Panama City Beach - NO WAY

The condo was right on the wonderful beach of 30A. However there was nothing luxurious about the condo or completely renovated. The outlet covers were painted over and dirty. The cabinets in the kitchen were missing knobs. There were are least 10 light bulbs missing, which left it dark and dismissal especially with the dark linens and dark bedding. There where nail holes in the walls and the drapes were ragged with plywood holding up the rods. The was a plastic end table that had burn marks on the top next to the couch. The outdoor furniture was rusted and the cushions were ripped and extremely faded. The microwave had rust on the inside. The description is misleading and false.

I would not recommend this property to anyone, not because of the wonderful location or fabulous restaurants nearby, but because of the condition of the unit.

Our stay was wonderful. We enjoyed the area and knowing we had somewhere nice to relax nightly was a relief. The condo is truly a home and the kitchen is stocked with anything you may need.

Absolute perfection

Surprise birthday week for my sister at this condo....fabulous. Fifty-one steps to the beach-we hardly left except for grocery run, a take out dinner and one dinner out. We are still having beach withdrawal and in our dreams would own this condo and come often. The sunsets on the beach were the ending to every day we were there and nothing disappointed us. Hope to come back as often as possible!

Cancellation Policy / Refunds: In the unfortunate event that renter has to cancel reservation, notice is required via e-mail. We will immediately put the property back on the rental market. If more than seventy-five (75) days prior to scheduled arrival, you will receive a full refund (less an administration fee of 5% of the total rental amount). If within seventy-five (75) days and we successfully rent it, we will refund your money less a Cancellation Fee of 10% of the total rental rate. If we are unsuccessful in renting it, you will forfeit the full deposit if more than forty-five (45) days prior to scheduled arrival and the full rental rate if within forty-five (45) days. No adjustments or refunds will be made for late arrivals or early departures. You should consider purchasing trip insurance (these policies typically cover circumstances like illness, accident, death in the family, etc.), as such covered events are the responsibility of the renter and owners cannot purchase their own protection against such guest cancellations.

Severe Weather Policy: In the event that the County Emergency Management Offices of North West Florida or the National Weather Service issues a mandatory evacuation notice, refunds of the rental fee will be pro-rated from the time of your departure. If no evacuation notice is issued by either agency, requests to shorten or cancel your reservation due to potential threatening weather must be made in advance and will be considered only on a case-by-case basis, with no guarantee of any refund or reimbursement.
