Here's a two bedroom, two bath oceanfront condo with real elbow room! Big first floor oceanfront with king size bed, small building with elevator, small dogs considered.
One of many reasons to love Surfside Beach is that there are no high rise buildings to detract from the delightful "beach village" experience. A downside is that not many of the condo buildings have elevators. South Shores II is a great small complex that has an elevator, and carts to making unloading so much easier. Better yet, this beautifully decorated condo is on the first floor, just a few steps up, no need to wait for the elevator.
Enjoy a real beach vacation feeling from the spacious first floor balcony. Relax inside the comfortably furnished living room after full vacation days, take in some TV on the large flat screen. The kitchen has current appliances, wide countertops for lots of food preparation space, with a full complement of pots, pans, appliances, dishes and utensils. There is a washer and dryer adjacent to the kitchen.
The master bedroom has a door to the balcony, a king size bed, TV, plenty of storage space and a full bathroom. The second bedroom is at the opposite end of the condo, for privacy. It has two double beds, a TV and direct access to a full bathroom. The sofa folds out to a queen size bed.
South Shores II has a full size swimming pool just off the beach. There are plenty of lounge chairs, it won't be crowded with only 16 units in the complex. There are two parking places per condo at South Shores II. The soft warm sand of Surfside Beach is a short stroll from the pool deck.
Small dogs (<20 lbs) may be considered with individual approval, with $200 additional rent. Please call for approval before reserving with pets. Pets are prohibited unless specifically approved in advance. Surfside Beach city ordnance prohibits dogs on the beach between May 15 and September 15.
Surfside Beach is perfect for a family vacation, away from the traffic and crowds, but still a short drive to the wide variety of attractions, shopping, dining and entertainment the Grand Strand has to offer, along with over 100 golf courses. The Surfside Beach pier, restaurants and shops are a few blocks north from South Shores II. Water slides and amusement parks that kids love are right out on business 17. Luxury shopping and dining are a few minutes north in the Market Commons area. The Murrell's Inlet "Restaurant Row" is the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina", it's a few minutes south. Just a short drive north are all the attractions, dining, shopping and nightlife of Myrtle Beach; Broadway at the Beach, Coastal Grand shopping center, the Myrtle Beach boardwalk, amusement parks, and one of the world's largest Ferris wheels. For a unique cultural experience, Brookgreen Gardens displays one of the world's largest collections of sculpture by American artists in a lush outdoor setting, along with a zoo and butterfly garden, it's just a few minutes south.
It's easy to see that you and your family will make oceanfront memories South Shores II, is it not?
The person renting this property must be at least 25 years old, have a valid credit card, and be present for the entire rental.
Parking is limited at all oceanfront properties. We can only provide the number of parking tags allowed by the Home Owners Association and property manager. None of these properties provide more than TWO parking tags. No additional parking tags are available.
We had a great time (with exception of hurricane). Loved the decor and the spacious rooms. It was great having full size washer/dryer in the condo. Ocean front roomy balcony overlooking the pool. This condo could not have been nicer!
Everything was wonderful for our vacation. The furniture was new and clean. The beds were like marshmallows. I wanted to take them home. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. The only downside was that there where no beach chairs I thought they would be provided so we didn't bring any only to find there was none so I had to buy 3 new ones.
South Shores II is an older Condo that needs a little TLC. It's all about location!! Great oceanfront views. The condo was nicely decorated and clean but the electrical system needs updated. Only half of the outlets actually worked and there were way to many multiple outlet devices used. We made sure we didn't overload any outlets so this did not create a problem. Master bed was way to high with the 4 inch mattress topper. Fee for pets is extreme!!
Our stay at the beach was fantastic and really relaxing. Our dog was with us and she loved it too. She stayed out on the balcony a lot.
The weather was unseasonable warm and just beautiful and the condo was exceptionally clean and just beautiful. Our daughter just loved everything about it also. She went swimming in the ocean and went in the pool. Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo with us. We will be back. We have been coming to that area for 25 years and this is one the nicest condos we have stayed at. Thank you and God bless you.
$1m view. Conveniently located to dining, shopping, and Myrtle Beach. Elevator made it easy to unload our luggage. Had a nice front loader washer and dryer. Nice furnishings and smart tv with wifi and phone was a definite plus. But...the place is in need of a very deep, deep, thorough cleaning. Thick dust on the ceiling fans and kitchen cabinet molding...thick dust on the bathroom fans as well. The carpet is old and dirty and smelled of dog urine. The beds were comfortable but, the linens were worn and outdated in the double bed room. Baseboards were dirty and the whole place needs some serious drywall work and paint. The pictures listed here must be older because the condo is definitely not as clean as the pictures portray. I will say the pool and pool area along with the parking lot and breeze way were all very clean ans well kept. Elevated Clean who oversees this property really need to step it up a few notches and do a better job cleaning this condo. If I were the owner of this property I would be highly upset with Elevated Cleans lack of detail to cleanliness. I would have to say I would not rent this unit again unless it was updated and seriously clean.
Spent a week in Sept 2015, really enjoyed our stay. Condo had all the amenities we needed, perfect location to everything! Great access to the beach. Lots of room and sitting. Both bedrooms have privacy from each other. Waking up in the king room we had 2 great views of the ocean. Even sitting on the sofa we had a great view! Quiet area perfect for relaxation! Nice pool area. Easy booking, Lookn forward to stayn again!

Perfect for either families or couples, our Myrtle Beach home rentals offer luxurious and convenient amenities; beautiful décor; access to pristine beaches; and magical views of the sparkling Atlantic Ocean!
The Grand Strand is a large stretch of beautiful beaches where many of our Myrtle Beach home rentals are located. Once a hiding place popular among notorious pirates, today among America’s most popular vacation destinations, Myrtle Beach’s Grand Strand offers a wide variety of recreation and entertainment activities. Start with miles and miles of golden soft sand on a shore that slopes gently into the Atlantic. The Grand Strand was voted #1 in the USA (#6 in the world) in a recent poll of frequent travelers.
The communities just south of our Grand Strand Myrtle Beach home rentals, Surfside Beach and Garden City, are our most “family friendly” areas and offer scores of reasonably priced ocean front Myrtle Beach condo rentals for family enjoyment of the warm sunshine, sand, and the vast Atlantic. Many of these condos are large enough to accommodate several families, a perfect reunion setting.
Golf is the “national” pastime of The Grand Strand. Some say you can play a different course every day of the year. That’s probably an exaggeration, but certainly you can play 36 holes a day for a week, (or a month) without seeing the same course twice. There are well over 100 golf courses to choose from near many of our Myrtle Beach home rentals. Fishing is the lesser-known area sport. Inland waterways and shallow coastline areas offer anglers lots of action, with guides available to show the way.
A perfect family vacation area, there are dozens of attractions and amusement parks close to many of our Myrtle Beach home rentals for kids of all ages. The new SkyWheel, a 200 foot high Ferris wheel, is an amazing attraction and is said to be among the largest in the world. Also not far from many of our Myrtle Beach home rentals are zoos, an aquarium (with a dozen species of sharks!), science and curiosity exhibits and museums for family entertainment. Surfside Beach and Garden City both offer amusement parks the kids and parents alike will love.
For a combination of art, culture and nature many of our Myrtle Beach home rentals are right near Brookgreen Gardens. This 9,000 acre park exhibits one of the largest collections of sculpture by American artists in the world. The manicured lawns with walkways and pools beautifully enhance these spectacular works of art.
Restaurants are everywhere, with options for every taste and budget. Just about every cuisine in the world seems to be represented all only a short ways from many of our Myrtle Beach home rentals. Seafood is, of course, the staple, there are a large selection of places to get all you want. Murrell’s Inlet says it’s the Seafood Capital of South Carolina, and boasts a long row of highly regarded seafood restaurants to prove it.
Nightlife? If you’re not worn out yet, choose from live popular music, professionally produced stage shows, and “tribute” acts that pay homage to the legends of popular music, playing “oldies” that are sure to bring back memories.
