My home is a classic Craftsman lovingly rebuilt and 900 sg' added in the Craftsman Style. Cherry wood floors, built ins, a modern kitchen, the master bath had an awesome heated jacuzzi tub and a very private back yard. It isn't fancy it is a cool house in a very cool neighbourhood.
I am growing a Giant Redwood in the back yard it is about 19 ' tall. It is winter so the trumpet vines are cut back so the hemming birds are not as active.
The traditional living room is empty I use it for various band rehearsals and Zumba classes so that is your bonus room. the living room is now located in the old dining room.
You will have access to the entire house and backyard with the barbecue. The garage which is semi detached from the house has a private entrance. I will be moving my sports car in and out of the garage carport area.
Only if there is a problem. As stated I will only be by to get into the garage which is accessed from The carport area. I will be getting my sports car and suits that are stored there. We would arrange an easy way to communicate. Otherwise I have no desire to be around. I will be living on my sail boat. Tough life.
The house is nestled in University Heights on the North side of Adams Avenue. My home is at the beginning of the Adams Avenue Business District (website hidden) is considered user friendly with affordable classy restaurants, coffee shops with wonderful daily pastries, and a great breakfast joint, several wine bars interspersed over the 2.5 miles of eating and shopping. Not many neighbourhoods can boast of a tequila bar with over 209 different ones to choose. ( It's 3 blocks away) . Antique shops and a Peace park to meditate not more than a quarter block away.
The neighbours are friendly, and a big pine tree hides the front of the house.
The bus stop to go down town, Balboa Park or the Zoo is a quarter block away, the bus stop for Qualcomm Stadium is on Texas Street which is about 2 blocks away. I use the cab to go to the stadium to avoid driving or walk down Texas St to the trolley and go to the Stadium. I feel everything is very walk-able.
The house has charm and has it's own seasonal personality as the wood adjusts to the weather. Pizza delivery is good, Chinese is near,
I have 2 flat screen TV that use a digital antennae and net flicks via my computer.
I have been a musician/actor the majority of my life blessed with seeing the world and make people smile. I do have a good business side to me and I like to have fun. Keep it simple.
Ed owner / property manager purchased this house in 1989

Approximately 10 years ago I added an additional 900 sq' the older portion was taken down to the studs. What I ended up with is a home that is deceiving from the front.
The house has a custom kitchen, modernized front bathroom, and a master bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and glass block wall.
Cherry wood floors a small back that has a thriving Redwood Tree. Presently, a muralist is painting a wonderful scene on the back wall.
Is the house perfect NO her bones are over a 100 years old that is lovingly maintained. It is a nice home.

My home is located in an older classy community. I have restaurants, bars, coffee shops, eateries, meditation park, I am located close to the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, QualComm Stadium, and Petco Park and a short ride to Seaworld.
Property owner was extremely nice and helpful with tips on nearby eateries. Four of us stayed 4 nights on business. It was as advertised.
The home had all the comforts of home for our family of four and caught a great breeze from the canyon. The house was clean and tidy. Ed was a great host and very helpful with local information. The house was a few miles from Balboa Park which you could reach in less than 10 minutes by car. The kitchen was fully equipped if you wanted to cook but the house was within walking distance of many great restaurants, bars and shops on Adams Avenue. It was also very close to the University section of the city with more restaurants and bars and stores. There was a parking spot as well. It was about 15 minutes to get down to the harbor and several beaches and was also not too bad to jump on the highway to get up to Escondido, where we were visiting family. It was in a quiet section of town despite it close location to Adam's street. I really fell in love with this part of San Diego. Thank you Ed for all your hospitality!
The house is everything that that the profile states. The home is surprising large with lots of personal space. Most San Diego attractions including the Zoo, Beaches, Downtown, Petco Park and Qualcomm stadium are within a 15 minute drive. The area is outstanding with lots of local culture right around the corner.
First off Ed was welcoming, accommodating and on point with local food and drink recommendations. Within 3 blocks there are numerous wonderful restaurants and drinking establishments. The house is located with easy on and off the highway making traveling a breeze. The home itself fit the six of us comfortably and easily. We cooked at home some meals and the kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable and the home clean. The backyard was a good little hang out in the evenings. Enjoyed our stay. Thanks Ed from the crazy Critical Care nurses who came for convention.
Sweet little house that felt like a home for our 5 day weekend with daughter and son-in-law and 2 young grandkids. Nice intro to house by owner then privacy for rest of weekend. Unfortunately grandkids and my daughter arrived sick but we all enjoyed opportunity to be together and everybody recovered in the Californian sunshine. Nice little neighborhood with take out options for food. Great location for zoo, Balboa Park, Sea-world, all relatively close. No hassles. Great memories. Nice to feel like a local for awhile. Exactly what we were looking for. The owner, Ed, offered nice ideas for food and local entertainment. He has great knowledge of musical scene. Will be back!
House was very beautiful and comfortable. Mattress were amazing, it was hard to get out of bed! Bathrooms, towels, linens,

During the Christmas and Thanksgiving rental period I am waiving the maximum occupancy from 6 to 10 people so visiting families will be able to have more family visit. This is the only time this will be allowed. I have sleeping bags and an air mattress and extra towels to accommodate
