So close to the sand!

  • 4 of 5

This property was perfectly located to take advantage of a very wide and clean beach in Siesta Key; it was just steps away from the entrance gate. The unit was very clean and comfortable. On arrival, Jim provided a lot of information both about the unit and the surrounding area. Living on the property, he was available throughout the stay to answer questions and provide advice. A good choice for one person or a couple who do not want to do extensive cooking.

It was wonderful

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in Unit 4 At The Beach. We had all the comforts of home and a beach at our front door. The manager, Jim, was very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. The only thing we missed was having a pool. It was a relaxing vacation, and the weather was perfect.

Very close to the beach

  • 3 of 5

By far the best thing about this place was its proximity to the lovely beach. Generally the place was cramped, the rooms were very small and in an usual configuration. The place was clean and quiet. Parking was right outside the door. There were two baths that were both small, especially the showers. The kitchen was just an after-thought in the middle of the bend in the hallway. The manager does go out of his way to offer service. There was a washer and a dryer located very conveniently off the unit. They were very new and were free for our use. We enjoyed out stay, but would most likely not go back.

Sarasota is the leading cultural center of Florida, its rich arts scene rivals some of the biggest urban centers in the country. With dozens of performing arts venues, renowned opera, theatre and ballet companies, numerous art museums, a thriving visual arts community and art festivals that draw visitors from across the globe, it's easy to understand why people come to Sarasota for art vacations instead of beach getaways. Thankfully, the two are not mutually exclusive.

The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art. Housed on the site of the circus magnate's former estate on the shore of Sarasota Bay, the museum hosts one of the largest collections of Rubens canvasses in the world, along with many other works by Old Masters. But that's only the beginning of the Ringling legacy. You can also tour Ca d'Zan Mansion, a magnificent 56-room Venetian Gothic palace that served as the Ringling's residence also see the restored
