Welcome to Bella Vista Lodge, a splendid mountain retreat located in breathtaking Smokies. The lodge’s name, Italian for “Beautiful View”, is inspired by the direct, unobstructed and panoramic view of Mount LeConte, the jewel of the Smoky Mountains. The beauty of the outdoors is brought inside through the cabins wall of windows, and is accentuated by the luxuriously appointed yet rustically designed décor and architectural features. Coupled together, Bella Vista offers the unsurpassed beauty of the Smokies along with stylish comfort, luxurious indulgences and relaxed enjoyment.

The gleaming hardwood floors, comfortable and inviting living area, impressive floor to ceiling stack stone fireplace, and commanding antler chandeliers provide the perfect lodge environment. An ultra-sophisticated, full-equipped and gourmet kitchen will surpass all of your culinary expectations. With a state-of-art, surround sound media room, super-sized flat panel televisions, top of the line pool table, fantastic gaming system and expansive Blu-ray, DVD, game and literary library, Bella Vista offers unending entertainment options for the entire family.

Each of the five bedrooms features luxury bedding, upscale king-size log beds and designer décor. An inviting reading area affords upscale comfort and some of the best view in the house. The “bunk room” is a haven for kids of all ages with two log bunk beds, comfortable and casual seating and exclusive movie and gaming systems just for the kids! The three designer baths feature custom cabinetry, lighting and fabrics to create a decadent spa-like appeal.

Enjoy the outdoors? With The stunning mountain vistas and the gorgeous expansive woodlands surrounding Bella Vista Lodge, you might never want to come inside. And that is okay because Bella Vista offers 4 outdoor living spaces to choose from! Rock away the hours in one of the many rocking chairs while absorbing the majestic views of the mountains. Enjoy al fresco dining for six at the outdoor dining area, or enjoy a sunrise breakfast at the intimate bistro nook. A lower level patio offers a stylish outdoor “living room” space adjacent to a state-of-the-art, 5-person hot tub.

Nestled on approximately 3/4 acres, Bella Vista provides its guests with the privacy they desire while still affording convenience to all the area attractions. Located in Gatlinburg's Arts & Crafts District, Bella Vista Lodge boasts unsurpassed seclusion while affording easy, direct and unintimidating driving access to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountain National Park.

About Blaise and Dina Miller, Owners

We are the Miller's (from left, Blaise, Bryce Brent and Dina). This picture was taken sitting in front of Bella Vista's huge stack stone fireplace.

We originally fell in love with the Lodge becuase of it's fantastic views of Mount LeConte and the massive wall of windows in which to 'take it all in'. Over the past year, we have renovated EVERYTHING in the lodge; installing new hardwood floors, antler chandeliers, carpet, furniture, appliances, lighting, cabinetry...and...and...and...

It was a lot of work, but the end results is a fantastic, top-of-the-line, mountain lodge that your family and friends will love to come home to and won't ever want to leave!!

We hope you love Bella Vista Lodge as much as we do.

Blaise and Dina Miller, Owners purchased this cabin in 2010

Why Blaise and Dina Miller, Owners chose Tennessee

Our search for this cabin crossed several states and a year and a half. We found lots of beautiful locations in other areas but to quote our youngest son 'It's so BORING...there is nothing to do but look at the view!'

We hated to admit it but he was right...Where could there be a place that had the serenity, and views that the adults desired, while having enough 'fun' to hook the kids??? The answer was Gatlinburg, TN!!

We found some of the best mountain views in the South in this area. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge have lots to do for our boys, from hiking, to white water rafting, to fine dining and live shows, to horseback riding and Go-Karts. We now that this area will entertain EVERYONE in our family for years to come...

What makes this cabin unique

We looked low and high, but could not find a place that 'wowed' us. When we found 'Bella Vista', there was no mistaking we had found what we were searching for!

Bella Vista Lodge combines a fantastic mountain view but unintimidating roads to get there. A real rarity in these parts!

It also provides plenty of indoor and outdoor space to accomodate large groups while still keeping a cozy and intimate feel.

The Lodge is in the Arts & Crafts District, which is a quaint area with lots of small family-run artisian shops - you don't even have to buy, just go in and talk with the kind folks - they are very friendly people.

We take pride in knowing that other families can create wonderful memories to last a lifetime while staying at Bella Vista.

Please know we will do everything possible to make sure you have a great vacation in the Smokies!

Beautiful bargain!

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed this cabin. The design and the view were great. Four large bedrooms with king beds made this the perfect cabin for our group. The additional bedroom downstairs with two sets of bunk beds would make it great for kids as well. It is conveniently located and a great bargain!

Wonderful cabin!

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. It is so roomy for a large group with all the amenities that you'll want. It was snowing during our stay but we were nice & cozy with central heating as well as the beautiful gas log fireplace. So nice to just turn the dial to have a warm fire in literally a minute (and no ashes to deal with)!

We did not use the hot tub.

The cabin was spacious and clean with an amazing view of Mt Leconte when the snow clouds cleared. Centrally located to Gatlinburg, Seiverville, & Pigeon Forge where there is plenty to do!

The only drawbacks were that the dryer did not work very well (took 2 hrs to dry a small load) and the jetted tub does not work in the master bedroom. (Note that you can take a regular bath, just no working jets in the tub).

No doubt these little problems will be taken care of promptly as the pride of ownership shows throughout this cabin. Looking forward to staying again❤

Owner's Response: Dryer vent needs to be cleaned out, will get that taken care of. Have service scheduled to fix the broken on/off switch on the jetted tub in the bedroom. Thanks for visiting Bella Vista Lodge and glad you had a nice vacation.

Bella Vista Lodge - a bit of Heaven

  • 5 of 5

Bella Vista was everything we dreamed for a family of 13 on vacation! The rooms were clean, spacious, all bedrooms included a TV. The bunk room worked super for our 4 young grandchildren. The hot tub was clean, the mountain view spectacular, the kitchen was well equipped, the three bathrooms were nice, and the seating plentiful. The fireplace was a nice touch for cool evenings. The owners provided us with detailed instructions. We will be back again!

Perfect Getaway ~ Amazing Cabin

  • 5 of 5

My friends and our spouses just returned from a three night getaway in the Smokies. We really enjoyed our stay at Bella Vista Lodge. I have stayed in several vacation rentals over the years. This cabin was far above anything we expected. It was perfect for our group. This is a very nice cabin, great layout with quite a lot of privacy for each bedroom, a huge balcony with very comfortable furniture, tons of windows that look out over Mount LeConte and a very well equipped kitchen. We really liked the location of this cabin, close to the park and Gatlinburg, but far enough away from the action that we didn't feel like we were on crowded. Blaise, the owner, was very nice and a pleasure to work with. We would definitely stay here again. In fact, we look forward to it!

Fantastic Weekend

  • 5 of 5

Travelled with 3 other couples so with low working Wi-Fi it helped bond with friends we don't see often. Wonderful views to compliment a beautiful cabin. Couldn't have been more comfortable. It snowed one day and therefore it caused a power outage but it was fixed within a couple hours. Nothing that caused any inconvenience. Sunshine on the last day made it a memorable trip. It felt as though we experienced all 4 seasons. We will come back and have already recommend it to our families and friends.
