Situated off the 5th Fairway of Nicklaus North with wide open gorgeous views, this property has just been completed in December 2013. Located a convenient 2 kms north of Whistler Village and only a 5 minute drive or taxi ride to all the local ski lifts and village, this home will provide a haven for your stay in Whistler. Tastefully designed and decorated, the home offers luxury high end accommodation to the discerning traveller. Wolf Gas Range, Sub Zero fridge/freezer are in the kitchen. 2 Master bedrooms consisting of king sized bed and luxury bathroom en-suites. 3 additional bedrooms all with en-suite. One with queen sized bed and two with king/twin split option. There is a family room with queen sized sofa bed and en-suite bathroom. Laundry and Mudroom with boot dryer area and plenty of storage for boots and jackets. 5 Flatscreen TVs, surround sound system with speakers throughout house. Combining high end modern furnishings and a a unique dining table set seating 12 guests. The wood for the table is made from reclaimed wood from floor joists out of the Boulder Saloon built in the Gastown neighborhood of Vancouver in the early 1900's, so the wood is well over 100 years old. Large double garage. Natural gas Weber barbecue, outside seating and, of course, large hot-tub for 8 people.

The house is located on the valley trail network and all the local hiking and biking trails. It is within a 2 minute walk to Whistler Recreation Centre that has full gym, squash, facilities as well as public ice skating and a children and adult pool. In summer time, the park opens up to a perfect setting for families with a small water park.

Please note that rates are based on 10 people in home. Additional persons charged at $100 per person + taxes per night.

The manager of the property has been a local Whistlerite for over 20 years and offers a wealth of experience and knowledge into the Whistler area. She has personally owned and managed over 20 vacation properties and is well versed in the tourism industry. She has recently taken on this property for a friend who is currently living outside the country but has equally been in the rental industry for many years. The goal of both the manager and the owner is to create a unique experience for guests staying in any of their properties.

The home met all of our expectations--short distance to Whistler Village; incredible kitchen, heated garage, heated floors; comfortable beds. The large living area and connecting kitchen floor (heated) was a perfect place for our two grandchildren to crawl and play. If we were coming back to Whistler, we would definitely rent this home again.

Nothing less than PERFECT

Our stay at 8016 Cypress Place was the best Christmas gift we could have given ourselves.

From the booking to goodbye there wasn't a single glitch!

The house is spectacular with absolutely everything you could possibly need provided for you and in immaculate condition - clean clean clean!

The kitchen is a dream come true to cook in and made meals an absolute pleasure to prepare for our large party. Tons of room to move around when there is more than one cook in the kitchen.

The bedrooms were comfortable with yummy sheets and the bathrooms (especially the master bath) had the BEST showers, ever!

I had to think twice about leaving a glowing review because we secretly want to keep this gem to ourselves!

Perfect large luxury home in Whistler

This house is perfect - very large, modern, clean, well appointed and luxurious. Great for a large group or family. 5 bedrooms all spacious with their own en-suite bathrooms. The Den could also easily be used as a bedroom with the fold out couch if needed - also has en-suite bathroom. The kitchen is large and well-appointed. House is well done and perfect for premium quality rental. I would definitely return and would highly recommend it to others. Things to note:

-House is great location, especially in the summer in my view. Very close to community sports center with large pool and ice rink etc as well as close to a park with kids splash park area. If you have small children this house is great as it is a quick easy walk along Valley Trail to get to these attractions - helps to keep them happy and entertained.

-Nice location on golf course with amazing views, so if you golf, definitely a bonus.

-Valley Trail super close, which makes for easy walk into Village (30-45 mins). Would be much faster via bike.

-5 min drive into Village - not a big deal to drive to Village at all.

-Super close to local Nester's Market for groceries and liquor store in same center (2-3 min drive)

-One of the master bedrooms has a pack n play in the walk in closet, so if you have a baby, you can easily put the baby in the crib setup in the master bedroom closet, which is nice.

-Landscaping is very well done - beautiful in August.

-Neighborhood is currently being built out - so there is construction now (Aug 2016) and likely will be for a bit, but the houses most immediate to this unit are further along. We didn't mind this too much because we had a 2 year old boy that loved watching the construction activity.

-I personally would also stay here in the winter, but it is a drive into the Village with parking involved or a shuttle if you wanted to ski, but I think the positives on the house outweigh this.

-The house is well managed - Lisa is great and very helpful - thank you!

We have high standards and did not have any complaints about the house - worked out really well. Hopefully it continues to be well maintained over time - we will be back!

Outstanding vacation & family reunion!!

Beautiful views from the back of the home where we spent lots of time just "being". Even spotted a black bear! Our family of 10 found it so spacious & comfortable! Lisa, the manager of this lovely home, is so customer focused & thorough that every detail was attended to. Cathy & Jim

We, as a family, selected this property to watch our son participate in the Canadian Ironman race. There were 10 of us, ranging in all ages.

The property was perfect in every way. It comfortably housed us all. The study provided a Kids games area, which allowed the adults the main gathering area. The house was beautiful, as advertised. The location, on the golf course, was ideal. The kitchen was completely and thoughtfully stocked with every food preparation item we needed

Lisa, the Manager, was great. She met us at the house and gave us a thorough walk around. She had previously informed us about construction of new houses in the area. Not only was it not a problem it became a source of enjoyment for our two year old grandson.

We highly recommend this property.

My New Whistler Home...

Let me start by saying that upon walking into the home everyone was amazed by the layout and look of the house. The kitchen, main living room, dinning room and back yard are one big open concept. This turned out to be such a great thing because it kept everyone together. The house is clean, spacious and extremely comfortable.

The second biggest plus to this home is that every single room has a full private bathroom and the water pressure is amazing. My group was 8 guys (33-35) and everyone loved that they had their own space. The house has 2 master bedrooms and they are huge. Tons of closet space and tons of space in general. The beds were all very comfortable and all the guys in my group agreed on this. The view from the 1st master bedroom is unbelievable. It is like waking up in heaven.

The home has 2 living rooms so the second smaller living room would be great for kids and teenagers to hang out in. Most, if not all rooms in the house have flat screen TV's. The house has tons of storage room so your will never feel crowded.

The back patio / yard is huge. Great for a bbq and the yard was great for bocci. The view from the back yard is breathe taking. It was great sitting there having food and drinks, watching people enjoy a game of golf. The refreshments lady from the golf course came over one morning and served us Caesars which was great. We paid for them but what a great addition to breakfast.

As for location, we felt it was prefect. 5 min cab ride to the centre of the village and 2 min away from the great Scandanavie Spa. It's also really close to Alta Lake so all in all the location is amazing. Remember that Nesters delivers alcohol and groceries so we didn't really have to do any shopping. One night we ordered Fat Tony's Pizza and had no problem with delivery.

Lisa, is the host and she is amazing. She was always one text message away and responded very well to all of our questions.

Leave the place tidy, be respectful and I promise you that you will have an amazing trip.

We will be coming back every year.

This property is located 2 kms north of Whistler Village off the 5th tee of Nicklaus North golf course. A superb location as it is easily accessible from the village by car, bus or taxi. 5 minutes to any of the ski lifts and ski parking areas. Close to the Recreation Centre called Meadow Park that has an ice skating rink, squash courts, full gym and adult and child pools. The property is located off the Whistler Valley trail that extends all of Whistler and you will have access by bike or on foot to everything Whistler has to offer. Grocery shopping close by, swimming lake in the summer and 2 other World Championship golf courses in Whistler.
