Located on the 2nd floor of 'Hôtel de Larguillière' (Former Private Mansion of Nicolas de Larguilliere, great painter during the reigns of Louis XIV, the Regency and Louis XV).
This street, which is one of the oldest in PARIS, derives its name from the military and religious order of the Knights Templar. It is a Contract of Exchange between Charles Rigaut, Baron of Veuilly, King’s Counsellor, and Pierre Symonet, one of the bourgeoisie of Paris. Around 1690, the residence had a famous proprietor in the person of Nicolas De Larguillière (1656-1746), a great painter during the reigns of Louis XIV, the Regency and Louis XV.
