Located on the 2nd floor of 'Hôtel de Larguillière' (Former Private Mansion of Nicolas de Larguilliere, great painter during the reigns of Louis XIV, the Regency and Louis XV).
This street, which is one of the oldest in PARIS, derives its name from the military and religious order of the Knights Templar. As far as is known, the earliest deed relating to this house with its elegant façade, is dated 25 July 1665. It is a Contract of Exchange between Charles Rigaut, Baron of Veuilly, King’s Counsellor, and Pierre Symonet, one of the bourgeoisie of Paris. Around 1690, the residence had a famous proprietor in the person of Nicolas De Larguillière (1656-1746), a great painter during the reigns of Louis XIV, the Regency and Louis XV.
Can't beat the rate! Charming, spacious, completely renovated, perfect for a couple with friends or small family.
The apartment is on the 2nd floor (2 floors above the ground floor), without an elevator. In the heart of the Marais, Rue du Temple.
Lively street, vibrant nightlife, great shopping and restaurants abound.
Only few minutes walk either South to the historic Ile St. Louis, North to the Picasso Museum, West to Beaubourg/Les Halles or East to the beautiful, historic Place des Vosges. Very conveniently located close to 2 metro lines (station 'Hotel de Ville' on Line 1, or station 'Rambuteau' on line 11, and the big 'Chatelet-Les Halles' public transportation hub, where you can hop on the 'RER' train which goes to CDG airport). Most of historic Paris is within a 20 minute radius on foot.

Location! Location! Location! This is not the most luxurious property in Paris, but definitely one of the best located. I buy primarily based on location, and this one is a prime central location close to sightseeing, dining, nightlife, shopping!
We had an amazing time in Paris. What a fabulous location. We were close to everything we needed. We appreciated the extra washroom. The space was wonderful. We would definitely return.
Exactly as advertised. Property manager, Antoine, very easy to work with. Great location for our 7 days in Paris. Very easy Metro access for lines 1 and 11, walking distance to Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle, Place des Vosges, and Pompidou Centre. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area. Lively neighborhood, might be noisy in summer with windows open. This was not an issue for us. I would stay here again.
The owner was very helpful. The location was awesome. The apartment was well furnished. The price was good.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was large, well maintained and in a great neighborhood close to attractions, shopping , wonderful restaurants and many transportation options. We were allowed to self check-in early in the morning as we arrived at 7:00 and there was not a renter prior to our stay. This allowed us to begin our Paris adventure immediately upon arrival without worrying about luggage or arriving later in the day to check in. I definitely recommend you consider spending your Paris vacation here.
Very happy with my decision to stay here with my daughter for four nights. As good as I hoped it would be. It was actually in 4th arrondissement, not 1st, but still an awesome location.
The apartment is in an excellent location, close to Notre Dame and other tourist sites, as well as good restaurants. It has a very nice living room with a small galley kitchen and a dining area, big windows and at least 15-foot ceilings. Two bedrooms and bathroom are down a short hallway. The bedrooms are small, but comfortable. The bathroom facilities are separated into two small rooms, one with a toilet and a very small sink for hand washing and a second with a shower and full-size sink. The galley kitchen has the basics, but is not well suited for a lot of cooking. But when in Paris, cooking is not a high priority for me.
Short walk to Notre Dame, Hotel de Ville, Pompidou Center, Chatelet, Les Halles, Picasso Museum, Musée Carnavalet, Place des Vosges, Victor Hugo Museum, the Bastille and Hotel de Sully...
