About Patsy Blake

Surfing snowboarding skiing yoga doing smile maker. Joie de vivre - Get Ya Some!

I grew up in Buffalo NY with all that snow, but didn't try snowboarding until later in life when my then teenage children convinced me that as a surfer I'd LOVE it- and they were right. I started skiing last season just to mix it up and skiing is amazing too. I love the mountain life.

I currently live in Melbourne Beach Florida just down the street from the ocean in a peaceful beach community where I surf the lovely warm water of Florida.

Patsy Blake purchased this townhome in 2013

Why Patsy Blake chose Park City

After becoming wild about snowboarding and skiing, I searched for the perfect mountain town to call home. Since I still have to work I needed a place conveniently located to an airport that got lots of quality snow. Bazinga! Park City. Not only is Park City awesome in winter, it's amazing in summer. Mountain biker's paradise, wonderful hiking and Utah has AMAZING national parks- Zion, Arches, Canyonlands and Bryce are great weekend roadtrips. For my golfing friends, the lovely Park Meadows golf course is right out your back door.

What makes this townhome unique

Finding my mountain home was a challenge. I wanted all the amenities and conveniences Park City offers while maintaining a zenful lifestyle with plenty of green space. Racquet Club Village is perfect. Beautiful mountain views in a quiet setting, centrally located, 3 miles or less to three world class resorts- Deer Valley, Park City Mountain and Canyons and 2 miles to historic Downtown, right on the free bus route. It's perfect here. The snow is amazing, the altitude not too severe (7000') and the winter climate is dry and not that harsh. Lots to do, plenty to see, Sundance and super nice people. Park City truly is my idyllic mountain home. And if you think the mountains are amazing in winter- wait till you've visited in summer! Cool, dry climate perfect for warm weather activities. Stunning hiking, amazing mountain biking and bike trails all through town. Concerts, out door festivals, and outdoor pools and tennis right nearby. It's paradise found. My home backs up to the Park Meadows golf course- there's something for everyone all year long!

Unit has water softener - great for skin that's been playing in the high desert mountains and reverse osmosis drinking water- great to replenish and rehydrate.

Spacious and clean rental

  • 4 of 5

We stayed here in Feb for a ski trip. The owner, Patsy, is very responsive and provides clear instructions to the unit.

The rental is clean, spacious, comfortable, well-decorated, and the perfect spot for a family or two couples to enjoy some time in Park City. The kitchen is fantastic, and it's really nice to be able to enjoy a fire after a long day on the mountain. It's also <5 minutes from a grocery store and only about 10 minutes to Park City resort, door-to-parking lot.

Our only disappointment is that the spa is not free for use, and requires a paid access pass to the local rec center. The rec center is great, but it just doesn't have the same feel, and is not a convenient as a normal community spa that is free to use. This is not entirely clear in the description, so we were a bit disappointed in learning of the setup upon arrival.

Other than that, we highly recommend this property. It's an excellent value.

Amazing property in the perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing stay at this condo. It is centrally located so it's close to everything. The grocery store is less than 5 mins away and most activities are less than a 10 min drive. The condo itself is very well stocked and has everything you need to cook. The views of the mountains out the back door are just incredible. The beds are comfy and the condo was very clean. Patsy checked in on us several times during our stay as did the property manager. You can't go wrong renting this place. We can't wait to come back!

Great time in Park City

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time at this vacation rental. My husband and I met our daughter and boyfriend for a full four days of mountain biking, bbqing, and enjoying family. It was a last minute rental and Patsy was more than helpful. She communicated regularly and made sure we had everything we needed. She even allowed our two dogs which made it possible for us to come. There is a nice large deck off the living room to enjoy the beautiful view of the golf course and mountains. The complex is quiet, and while the neighbors seem a bit close, they are friendly and helped us pick some mountain bike trails! We never had a problem with privacy. We enjoyed going into historical Park City and especially the Sunday festival. Loved our stay, having lasting memories, and will come back!

Short Birthday Get Away in Park City

  • 5 of 5

I had a mid-week birthday this year, and we decided to go up to Park City (from Ogden, UT) for the night. This property was very clean, and well stocked. This condo has 3 decks! One off each bedroom and one off the living room. We were lucky enough to have GREAT weather, and was able to enjoy the outdoors while having a couple drinks with friends. In the evening when it got a little chilly outside, we came in to enjoy the fireplace.

What a nice short get away!

Great location, comfortable condo with all the details thought through.

  • 5 of 5

Our family of three visited for the weekend. This condo is in a great location in Park City with a 3 minute walk to the community recreational center and easy access to downtown just outside the busy traffic patterns. Inside, the condo is comfortable and the owner has thought through all the details. Well-stocked kitchen with labeled drawers telling you what is inside. Coat pegs in the entry way, towel pegs in the bathrooms, and other small details make you appreciate the owner understands what her guests need. And very responsible to our emails regarding reservations, good directions on how to enter and use the condo. All in all a great experience.
