New to the West Yellowstone rental market, this clean, quiet and comfortable cabin is a perfect alternative to a basic hotel room. The 1600 sq ft log home is just a few blocks away from the west gate of Yellowstone National Park. It has one large bedroom upstairs with one split king bed and two twin sized beds. The new sleeper sofa in the living room has a quality queen sized air mattress inside.
The cabin is quiet and very comfortable. The cabin has been recently remodeled. Everything is new in the cabin including: New Tempurpedic mattress. New 42in television. New Appliances, full kitchen. Large bathroom with jetted tub/shower. Super efficient, modern heating system.
The cabin is well suited as a deluxe suite for couples looking for something unique and special. It also rents great to small families up to six.
All bath soap is NutriBiotic. Fragrance and paraben free to be used for body and shampoo. All linens are washed in hypoallergenic, fragrance free, laundry soap. South Plateau Properties, LLC uses the Ladybug TANCS (Thermal Accelerated Nano Crystal Sanitation) steam vapor machine to clean, sanitize and deodorize with no chemicals. We also have two other homes on site. Visit HomeAway #3950593 and VRBO #159960.
We really enjoyed our 9 night stay in this cabin as a fantastic launch pad for exploring YNP. It is only a few blocks from the main drag of shops and restaurants as well as the West Yellowstone entrance to the park. We visited at the end of the season so I'm not sure how impactful traffic would be driving the 14 miles on the West Yellowstone entrance road to the Grand Loop everyday in the middle of the summer, but that stretch was gorgeous, with consistent bison and elk, and something we never tired of.
The cabin itself was cozy and well appointed for us as a couple. No privacy upstairs as far as door or the twin beds from the queen, but that was not a problem for the two of us. The bathroom remodel was downstairs and had a nice soaker tub, but being downstairs from the bedroom may be a problem for some. We'd definitely stay here again. The owner was easy to deal with as well.
Except there is only one bathroom, it was nice and cozy to stay for my father's friends.
This was our first time using VRBO, and we were very pleased with our experience here. Justin (the owner) was truly helpful, responsive and accommodating. Would definitely recommend this beautiful cabin!!
To be honest we hardly spent any time at this property because we arrived late on our first night after visiting Yellowstone Park and then got up the next morning and repeated.
The owners were quite easy to work with. The property itself was very clean and cozy and had been updated and remodeled. For a family of four with two teenagers there was enough space overall; however the sleeping quarters upstairs were a little tight, lacked privacy and my kids wished for bigger beds then the twin size; but it did accommodate our needs.
The downstairs area was spacious enough for all of us to watch a little bit of TV and kitchen was great to make coffee and they have a really nice sized refrigerator to store our food. We did not do any cooking at this property .
I especially liked the bathroom for its size overall and larger shower- tub combo was great. A few more bath towels would have been nice to have on site as there was no washer dryer in this unit . There was a parking spot right next to this property for our vehicle and parking on the street as well.
The property is located next to a little bar and we heard nothing from that bar either night we stayed and we had windows opened upstairs. The town itself was a variety of old and new; really catering to the tourist industry and was so incredibly busy and crowded!! We stayed here in early June before the height of tourist season so it's hard for me to comprehend how much busier this little town gets.
I certainly appreciated having a VRBO to stay at rather than a hotel with the amount of tourist coming into West Yellowstone, I know we had a better place to stay then a hotel ever could be and was far more comfortable and clean.
I will also recommend having any reservations for restaurants set ahead of time in West Yellowstone or eating in Yellowstone Park at one of the many places. Our first night we did not anticipate 1 to 2 hour wait times to eat at 7 pm. Our next night we ate in Yellowstone park at one of the restaurants and that was a much more enjoyable experience.
Overall- stay in a VRBO in this town- you will be happy you did! This property is nice, clean and quiet!!
Had an excellent stay. The cabin had everything we needed, and a few additional things not listed (from what I remember) on the cabin details (a portable fan). The owner provided a high chair at no charge, and was very prompt with communication. The back patio area had a high quality grill that was used one night. The only thing to note is: the stairs are narrow and a bit noisy, and the bathroom is only downstairs. We loved the place. This was an excellent location to stay for a simple 3 night in and out.
This is the perfect place for your stay in West Yellowstone. It had everything we needed, from a full kitchen to great beds - never slept better! There was even a deck and a barbecue we unfortunately only used once. Every kitchen appliance we could need was available and after long days in the park it felt good to relax in front of the television. The house was very clean, and Justin is a very relaxed host. We also liked the fact that the house is not in the hustle and bustle of the rather commercialised centre, but in a quiet part of town - though in walking distance of the shops. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Yellowstone National Park, highly recommended!
Located just next door from my other rental house listed on VRBO #159960
