This cabin is on a lake that is ranked #1 fishery in Western Montana by Montana Fish and Game. It is located in a friendly community only 2 hours from Glacier National Park and has easy access to the highway and nearby towns.
Feel the tension drain from your shoulders as you look out over the quiet water from the covered deck. Deer will walk through the yard daily and many times bald eagles can be spotted flying over the lake. Put your boat in the water and take advantage of the opportunities for boating, water skiing and fishing. Enjoy cooking your own meals in the fully equipped kitchen or try one of the local restaurants in Trout Creek or Thompson Falls.
The master bedroom has a king sized bed and en-suite bath with shower. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed. There is a full sized bath with tub adjacent to the common areas. The living room has a queen sofa sleeper. A pack and play is available for infants.
The vaulted living room has a 50 inch flat screen television and a dvd/vcr player. There is a gas station in Trout Creek on the highway that has videos available to rent.

We are business owners in Sandpoint, Idaho. We enjoy traveling, geocaching and fishing.
Owner purchased this Cabin in 2008
Why Owner chose Trout Creek
We traded an unfinished cabin located on the Cabinet Gorge for this finished one a little ways further down the road. We just didn't have the time and resources to fix up the unfinished one and the opportunity to trade came so we took it.
What makes this Cabin unique
We like that it is located with easy access to the highway and yet it is quiet so you still get the feel that you are really getting away from it all. We also like all the recreational activities that are available in such a short distance. Our favorite ritual when we come to the cabin is to make huckleberry pancakes.
Sports & Adventure Activities
Strong smell of sewage the entire stay. Made it unpleasant. Phone and internet disconnected after 2 days making it impossible to communicate with family unless we drove up to local store. Disappointed.
Relaxing family cabin
Beautiful spot over looking the river. We had 5 adults & 2 kids & the space was perfect for is. It was close to the market too which was nice. Hosts were responsive when we had problems with the internet.
Well appointed cabin in Trout Creek, overlooking reservoir
Our group of 4 people stayed for two nights at the cabin for our visit to the Huckleberry Festival. The cabin was perfect for our group. The back deck was a great place to gather in the evenings and the cabin was a nice walk to the festival. The cabin has wifi and a convenient laundry room. The neighbors, while close, were very respectful and quiet. Overall great stay!
Sara was so great working with us! We absolutely love this place! It is a beautiful location with a little bit for everyone who loves the outdoors. We went swimming, fishing, huckleberry picking and just sat enjoyed the view! Thank you
Beautiful Waterfront Cabin
We had an awesome time here! Very spacious Cabin. Beautiful views, daily wildlife visits from Deer, etc. Neighbors were fun to hang out with, and just wanted to stay longer. Great place to get away from the rat race and experience "God's Country" at its finest!
We stayed at the cabin while attending a wedding in the area and were very pleased with how comfortable and well appointed it was. It's situated in a very peaceful setting that is prefect to enjoy a good book and quality time with the family. I would love to come back another time and explore the area a little more.
