Diamond House 2 was featured on the popular LiveWell Network show, Sweet Retreats. This unit is located on the 3rd floor and has its own charm and personality.

Prime location in the heart of the historic Brewery District. Steps to the T (Orange Line) and minutes from downtown Boston, the Longwood Medical Area, The Museum of Fine Arts, Northeastern University, Faneuil Hall, and, Fenway Park.

Jamaica Plain is known for its concentration of greenspace. Rent a bike and explore the Southwest Corridor or take a ride to Jamaica Pond or the Arnold Arboretum. Runners, rollerbladers, cyclists, and walkers will find miles of paved paths just outside the front door.

Free on-street parking available or a gated driveway spot at an additional $10.00 per day

Rent a car from Zipcar, for the day, or for an hour. Vehicles are located in the lot right next to Diamond House.

I do architectural salvage for a living, which has allowed me to acquire a wealth of unique, unusual pieces, from stained glass to mahogany doors. I have spent nearly two decades creating a home that is both functional and beautiful.

Delightful!

If you are looking for a home away from home, this is your place. Two of us stayed in the third floor apartment for a week while I was recovering from a minor surgery that kept me in Boston for a week. This place was absolutely perfect with regard to cleanliness, a stocked kitchen, great sheets, perfect location, and best of all, an outstanding host, Louis. You can't beat this place! Plus, Jamaica Plain is a fantastic community to explore with great food. The other major advantage to staying here is that you are a block away from the T and can be downtown in 15-20 min. Street parking is easily available at the house as well. Louis, thanks for all of your helpful tips and being available to meet any need we had. Hope to see you again!

Very well kept up and well located.

Louis is a great host! He greeted us warmly, helped move our luggage upstairs and detailed everything we needed to know about the flat. He responded quickly (and patiently) when we were leaving and locked our suitcase inside. It's obvious he cares for his home, inside and out. It was a 3 minute walk to the Orange line T station, so we could easily get wherever we wanted. We enjoyed coffee and sandwiches at the nearby Ula Cafe. We'd stay again!

Comfortable Secure 3rd floor apartment

Excellent location in Jamaica Plain. Literally minutes walk to Stoney Brook T to get around Boston. Great neighborhood. Safe and convenient for walking. Less than 15 minute walk to Whole Foods or Stop and Shop for groceries. 5 minute walk to a great coffee place (Ula) and a restaurant (Bella Luna). Both located in a working brewery that offers tours.

The apartment has all you need. Lots of windows, comfortable beds and pillows , fully stocked kitchen if you like to cook. Louis is a great host: there if you need something or have a question (incredibly prompt) and not there if you don't need him (respects your privacy). Though we never had a lot of interaction with Louis, it's easy to tell he is a good person who really enjoys hosting.

If you like the 'feel of home' rather than a hotel, then this should be your choice.

Every review you read is the truth about the Diamond House. We rented the 3rd floor of the Diamond House and it was perfect for our family of five. The location was great. There is plenty to walk to in Jamaica Plain and the T is right around the corner. We were in in North End in 15 minutes(must eat at Giacomos). The apartment was very clean, cozy and well stocked. Louis is a wonderful host. We did not get to the house until almost 1:30am. Louis was there to greet us and help with our luggage. His response time to questions we had before we arrived and during our stay was immediate. We will be coming back!

Gem of a rental

We had the opportunity to stay in the third floor apartment of Diamond House when we came to Boston to visit our oldest daughter, who was in her summer term at Northeastern. The apartment was cozy, very well-kept, and had virtually all the comforts you could want. There were even fresh flowers in the apartment and outside Diamond House!

The house location was ideal, just a short walk from the T and near some cool eateries in Jamaica Plains.

Louis was a very gracious, friendly, and helpful host, even when our late Friday night arrival became an early Saturday morning one. He kindly reached out to us about whether we would need the A/C turned on ahead of our return.

We will have opportunities to need to visit Boston in the future and will definitely be seeing if the Diamond House has vacancies....

Amazing Find

We feel so fortunate to have found this property. Louis was wonderful. He made the booking process so easy and is a fantastic host. We appreciate his suggestions for restaurants shopping entertainment etc. The house and gardens are immaculate and so beautifully decorated. You are within walking distance to transportation, restaurants, grocery stores and even the Sam Adams Brewey. Thank you again Louis for a wonderful weekend.
