What makes this house unique

Travelers experience the comforts of home and not being cramped in a hotel room. Corporate Housing welcomed for employees on temporary duty assignments. Close to Solutia and Fuji and 15 minute drive to Greenwood. Dual Living rooms. Did we say enjoying peaceful settings and hearing nature and allowing one to forget about the demands of busy lifestyles. Snowbirds welcome still enjoy the beauty of South Carolina beaches and mountains and other amenties.

Quaint and clean little getaway near a beautiful lake

EllenCove is a cute home in Ninety Six very close to Lake Greenwood. I unfortunately was not visiting for pleasure but rather for business. I had a last minute need for a place in the area which I could bring my dog. Mr. Coleman was very responsive, accomodating, and very easy to work with. Upon arrival the house was very clean and has a nice little welcome package. We did not want for anything while we were there. The place was quiet and relaxing. The beds were comfortable and since the setting was so peaceful there was no issue with sleep. The house is very conducive to bring a dog. The lake is only five minutes away with the small town of Ninety Six not even five minutes away in the other direction. If you need a little bit bigger of a town then you can make your way to Greenwood which is only a fifteen minute drive. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Great For Temp Employees

The house had just about everything my wife and I needed for an extended stay during a work contract. Fast internet, comfortable showers, cozy beds, and a fully stocked kitchen. Anytime there was an issue with the house, Mr. Coleman was very quick to address the issue. His ease of communication made it a much better stay for the few times we needed something from him. I recommend this house for other traveling healthcare professionals. It's also only 2-3 miles from Lake Greenwood for people traveling for a lake vacation.

Great place

Wonderful accommodations. Everything was just as advertised. The location is prime...2 minutes from Lake Greenwood. Historic town of Ninety Six minutes away. Lots of great food, shops. The house was well supplies...we only had to bring food and beverages. They had linens, towels, pots, pans, plates, silverware... and on and on...even a washer and dryer. I highly recommend Mr. Coleman for ease of accessibility, willingness to please, and, his sense of humor

We would NEVER stay here again!

*Upon entering the home it was evident that the carpets, scatter rugs and mats were not clean and had not been vacuumed. The tile and wood floors were dirty and need to be washed.

*There are doorknobs, handles, and hinges that are falling off and are missing screws.

*Several drawer glides need repair.

*There were two burned out light bulbs inside the home. There is also a burned out bulb in the carport with no replacement available.

*The uneven floors made it difficult to walk.


*The mattresses are awful. They are covered with plastic so they are very loud and hot. The pillows are so flat that there is no support.


*We were astounded to see the condition of the many of the cabinets.

*Under the kitchen sink there are mothballs and mouse poop.

*The lower cabinets beside the sink are so filthy that we couldn’t use them.

*The coffee pot had not been cleaned. There was coffee in the pot and old grounds in the filter.

*The oven was dirty and needs to be cleaned.

*The kitchen table needs to be tightened because it wiggles when it is touched.

*The Teflon in the pans is coming off and need to be replaced.


*One of the three televisions are connect to Direct TV so two of them were unusable.


*The internet is extremely slow and we were unable to send messages more than one person at a time.


*This area stinks. It smells like there is something dead in this building.

*The washer and dryer were unusable until they were cleaned.


*Neither toilet is fastened securely to the floor.

We would never stay here again!

We only wished that we would have been informed of your concerns on the first day of your stay so that we could have addressed and made any other adjustments for you on. To be informed after your 9 day stay did not allow us time to investigate your concern. This is the first time that we have had this level of disappointment. We have noted your concerns and will address any that are confirmed. Please note the following: 1) The mattresses are new and all have mattress protective coverings, 2) The toilets are less than a year old and were installed by plumbing professionals by Lowe's, 3)The television in the other living area does have a digital antenna that and picks up several local channels, 4) We would gladly extend a 4 day stay in the future at no charge. We only wish that your experience would have been as positive as other guests who have stayed at our property. We will continue to improve on the property and our customer service. V/R, EllenCove

Great vacation home near the Lake

Home is very nice with a lot of room, quite and relaxing. It's a complete 'home away from home' - dishes, pots, linens, coffee maker, etc. We stayed for a month and would recommend this property for anyone looking for a place that is close to the Lake, several towns and within 2 hours of Greenville, Columbia, Anderson and 3 hours from the coast.
