At Sanibel Arms West experience our luxurious newly renovated condo - #1 Rating in the complex. Our top floor corner unit is a spacious open concept with new granite counters, new appliances and two screened lanais. It is steps to the beach, communal heated pool, boat docks and tennis courts. Our complex now has a new Fitness center and improved Business Center. Enjoy the convenience of the full size washer/dryer, 3 new flat screen TVs, newly upgraded complimentary high speed internet with WiFi (now rated the best wifi on the island!). Both the guest bedroom and master bedroom (king beds) have access to their own private bathrooms. Perfect for two couples or a family. The master bedroom is adjacent to a private screened lanai that overlooks the pool and has a glimpse of the gulf.
Our east end location is close to the causeway, shops, restaurants and attractions. Sanibel is a '2011 Top 10 Beach and Sun Destination in the U.S.' and is the number one travel destination for 2012 for Arthur Frommer. We have recently earned the "Certificate of Excellence" from Trip Advisor based on ratings by guests.

I had stayed at this condo area many years ago, not in this unit. If you are looking for a quiet and very relaxing place to stay, look no further. The property is very nice and well taken care of. This particular unit was amazing! It is a corner unit with two lanai's, one off the one bedroom and the second off the main living area. Very clean with all the comforts of home! The pictures of the unit are exactly what the unit looks like. I could not have asked for a better property to stay in. The beach is just a short walk for unit and no crossing the street to get there. Bikes can be delivered from one of the local bike rental establishment. They have complimentary beach chairs for you to use. The owner is very nice and does respond in a very timely manner, which is great! The staff in the office is very friendly as well. Again, thank you very much. I'm sure we will return even though we live in Fort Myers!! It's nice to have a great place that is reasonably priced! Judy F.
Nice condo. Tastefully updated. Short walk to the beach, but worth the savings from the beach front options. Condo owner and managers were all very easy to deal with. No problems.
We stayed here in June for a family vacation. The condo was immaculate! The owner has updated everything! It was absolutely beautiful and well appointed. The pictures on here are great, but do not do it justice. This is definitely a place that we will stay again.
Thanks so much for such wonderful accommodations. The condo was just perfect. Nicely furnished, clean, wonderful kitchen, loved the lanai out front. It was a great location for everything we wanted, beach, birding, restaurants, etc...The staff at Sanibel Arms West were wonderful as well. Very helpful and courteous. We hope to visit again next year and if able would love to return to this condo. Thanks for a the perfect getaway.
My wife and I, along with my brother and his wife, spent a wonderful week in February on Sanibel escaping the dreary weather back home. All things considered the condo was as advertised, very comfortable, in good condition and clean. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
There are just a couple of issues to address that would improve the experience however. First of all is the WiFi. The Home Away page states that the unit has WiFi which is not exactly true. There is no WiFi in the unit. We were able to latch onto an unsecured network from another building in the complex which did allow us internet access but it was not due to any WiFi in the unit.
The other issue has to do with supplies in the unit such as soap, toilet paper and other consumables. The unit comes with a bare minimum of these items, enough for a couple of days. The problem is that there is no way to provide ourselves with these supplies without seriously overbuying and having to leave a lot behind when you leave. For example: There were no coffee filters for the coffee pot and the smallest package available at the local island store was a package of 250 so we had to buy that 250 pack to make 7 pots of coffee for the week. We flew in from out of state so there was no room to take extra supplies home in our suitcases so we ended up leaving most of the supplies behind. We paid high season rates for the unit so it does seem like it wouldn't to be too much to ask for there to be enough basic supplies to last the week. At the very least there should be a way to perhaps purchase a few dishwasher loads worth of soap at the office for cheap to get through the week rather than to have to buy a ton of extra supplies that have to be left behind.
Other than that things were fine and we certainly enjoyed our stay.
From the moment we arrived to the last walk on the beautiful beaches, our stay was fantastic. The condo was immaculately kept and nicely decorated. The grounds of Sanibel arms were well maitained. Everything was spotless and kept on great condition. There were plenty of brand new beach chairs clean grills to cook on and also a beautiful heated pool. The entire staff was friendly and very helpful. We can't wait to go back next year!
Located on fabulous shelling beach, walking and biking distance to great restaurants and shops and close to the causeway for mainland excursions.
