We know you’re searching high and low to find the perfect place for your Hawaiian vacation. We think the West side of Maui is definitely the right place to look.
There are many beach parks to snorkel, picnic, or barbecue and it’s refreshingly cooler at night than other parts of the island. Restaurants of varying cuisine dot the West side, with many on the Northern end tucked away in tropical foliage, to offer the slower pace that people look for in Hawaii. Honolua and Napili Bays are absolutely stunning and are a hop, skip and a jump from our place. No need to pay for a snorkeling trip - just jump right in.
If you’re like us, we believe EATING, SLEEPING, and RELAXING are very, very important and that a great condo makes the vacation all the more memorable.
EATING – For us, one of life’s simple pleasures is to sip wine and eat our meal on the lanai – which is why we furnished it with a couch on one side and a dining table on the other. The warm, inviting lighting allows for enjoyment well past the famous sunsets, which can be viewed while enjoying your dinner on the lanai.
From the stemware to the cookware, our kitchen provides all the implements a cook would need to prepare a complete family meal. The open design, beautiful granite, and bamboo cabinetry help create a soothing and pleasurable place to entertain and prepare a gourmet dinner.
SLEEPING – Brand new pillow top mattresses with designer linens aim for the ultimate sleeping luxury. The master bedroom, with its king size bed, is smartly partitioned with beautiful Japanese shoji screens, which open up the room by day and seclude it by night.
The second bedroom, which is affectionately called the persimmon room, has a queen bed and a corner desk, which offers a convenient nook for working on a laptop. There’s also a sleeping loft with a plush twin mattress – a cozy place for nighttime reading before falling asleep.
RELAXING – After a day of enjoying the island’s activities, relax in front of the 46' High Definition Flatscreen TV with Blu Ray and Surround Sound. There is also an iPod docking station as well as high-speed wireless Internet connection. All you’ll need is a bowl of popcorn before sinking into the couch for the night.

We picked our community (Pohailani) because it is largely residential, right by the water, and has lush gardens with several mango trees. It is a community comprised of oceanfront studios and a number of two-unit, two-bedroom, garden style buildings set beneath shady tropical trees.
Our family of four stayed here and we were thrilled. Everything was as advertised -- plenty of space, comfortable furnishings, luxurious bathroom, fully stocked kitchen, speedy washer/dryer, and amazing lanai for all our meals. The unit also had great wifi and an entertainment center, but we hardly used them as we spent most of our time at the pool (just steps away), at the beach, or enjoying the Maui breezes on the lanai. The location is also fantastic, located midway between (and just 10 minutes by car) from both Kaanapali and Kapalau (with Lahaina just a few more minutes away). Schedule allowing, we will definitely be back!
The unit itself was perfect...spacious and clean with all the amenities and then some! They even had a rice cooker! The condo overlooking the pool and peaceful courtyard was wonderful...we enjoyed morning coffee and dinners on the lanai. We had the refreshing pool to ourselves for most of the stay. What a bonus during spring break! I was initially concerned about the air but the unit cooled quickly and we even turned off the account at night. I have to note the beds...ridiculously comfortable even slept better than my bed at home! Kids loved the loft too. Great stay we'll be back!
The unit was really nicely updated and had everything we needed for the few nights we spent at the condo. It was as lovely as the photos and a short drive to anywhere we wanted to go. However, the pool was very dirty. We would consider returning, if we come back to Maui.
Believe it or not! Our quaint little condo did not disappoint. I found it to be clean, quiet, and comfortable for 4 adults. The kitchen was perfect! I would return again!

Great condo! Everything we needed or wanted was right at our finger tips. Really enjoyed the lanai, it was a great place to unwind after a day of adventures. JIll and Rachel were great and very easy to deal with. Really loved our stay and will definitely be back!!
We absolutely loved staying at the House of Garden Mist! We flew in late to find the most comfortable beds to sleep in and woke up to a beautiful morning where we enjoyed coffee on the spacious lanai. The lanai was a wonderful place to eat, hang out and nap and much of our time spent in the condo was on the lanai. We loved the unique and natural feel of the decor inside the condo and all appliances and amenities we could have needed were thought of. It really felt like home.
Needless to say, most of our time was spent outside the condo, but home base was in an excellent location. It was only a couple minutes away from our Hawaii family, close to several great beaches and within 10 minutes to the Banyan Tree and Lahaina Court.
Jill was so very nice and full of the Aloha spirit and when we come back to Maui we would absolutely love to stay here again. It was hard to say goodbye and I would most definitely recommend this place to others!
