Location, Location, Location just a short walk to the hub of town which affords vacationers with what the entire island has to offer! Beautiful beaches, great gift shops, local restaurants and picturesque views of the water from your choice of places to have lunch.

This turn of the century, rustic four bedroom home has updated amenities while keeping its original floor plan. Located just steps away from town you walk up to the inviting deck which leads you into the warmth of the enclosed sunroom. From here you enter into an open living/dining/kitchen area with original hardwood floors, flat screen television and plenty of room to be comfortable.

On this main level is also the updated kitchen, 2 full baths, one bedroom with a queen bed, a master suite with a queen bed and yet another full bath. Large private deck with outside shower off of the master suite makes it great for morning coffee or your own private entrance.

Upstairs are the other two bedrooms one with two twin beds and the other hosts a queen bed.

This house is fantastic for a large family or a group of friends to enjoy. With such close proximity to Town and the Beaches everyone has the ability to walk everywhere. Wake up early for a sunrise beach walk; grab a cup of coffee and a dozen bagels for your guest. Stroll to dinner and get ice cream afterwards; enjoy the sunset from the lawn at the Atlantic or the deck at Kittens.

Escape from it all with this conveniently located Block Island Vacation home and reconnect with family or friends. A place for your pet to enjoy too!

This home includes, cleaning, linens, garbage removal and beach supplies. Please note the linens and towels that are included in this rental, are the following: 3 queen set of sheets, & 2 twin sets of sheets, 8 bath towels which include 8 wash clothes and 4 hand towels, as well as, 8 beach towels. If you feel you may need more of any of the linens and towels please contact at your own expense

  • The first floor master bedroom has a NEW (2015) queen sized Tempur-pedic bed, a en-suite bath, with a glass panel and marble shower. The walk in closet is bright and airy and the suite also has a private deck with pond views and enclosed outdoor shower. Being an addition, the Master suite is quiet and private offering a nice get-a-away from the rest of the house

Block Island at its finest

This is a 5 star review as the property is as advertised. Location is ideal, full sun and great breezes and the beds are super comfortable. This is a highly recommended place to stay.

I stayed there 8/12-8/19 after a poor review had been posted and all I can say is that persons review is extremely suspect and unfortunate for such a special property. I will return.

Great Location, Great Property, Encompasses what Block Island is all about....

Had an incredible stay on Block Island in this perfectly located and spacious home. Our family had a number of dinners at the large table in the kitchen as well as outside on the deck. There were tv's in all the rooms so the kids were able to come in from long days at the beach and relax for a bit. The place was clean, the rooms were air-conditioned and the property is stunning. It was a comfortable stay and I would definitely return.

Property is worn. Needs a complete remodel and update. Good location BUT!

The property needs to be fixed. The TV's don't work, the dish washer is falling apart, the grills were broken, we ran out of gas for the stove and hot water, we showed up on Saturday as expected and they thought we were coming Sunday. I will say, the extended family on property were exceptional. Really helpful. Thank god! The location is perfect. The island is as fun and beachy as you will find. The restaurants are great. We had a blast even with less than exceptional accommodations. We will go back to The Block, just not at the Burgess House.

Location! Location! Location!

We walked into the house and it was spotless and smelling fresh! So clean and bright! We had a group of 8 adults for a wedding and the house was spacious enough for everyone to spread out. We enjoyed the grill and sat out on the sunny deck overlooking the large yard. We could walk everywhere - it was a 5 minute walk into town. Daniel was a pleasure to rent from, he had lots to share about the island. His home was well maintained and beautiful!

The Burgess House, Circa 1791 is located on a family Farm with 3 other homes, 5 bungalows and a barn nestled around scenic Mill Pond. We are located in Old Harbor, a 5 Min WALK TO ALL FERRIES, TOWN & THE BEACH. Its the largest and most modern home on the property with strong WiFi, 5 large flatscreens with DirecTV. The home also has a newly renovated Kitchen and first master bedroom with en-suite glass shower, private deck overlooking the pond and an large enclosed outdoor shower.
