Located within walking distance of the old whaling town of Lahaina on 28 acres of lush gardens Puamana is a low density, low rise gated community offering the privacy that you deserve. Almost a half mile of Pacific Ocean beachfront is your playground.

The beach at Puamana is seasonal.

Newly renovated but old mattresses.
Upon 1st entry to the house., everything was perfect just like the photo. Conveniently location near Front st and easily access tot he ocean. The star rating would have been “5” if the bed was comfortable. The master bedroom mattress was horrible. It squeeked, springs were poking on our backs and mattress had a hump in the middle. The loft beds were no better. The pull-out sofa bed in the living room was decent (surprising).
Nice remodel is recent and clean as advertised, photos are accurate. 2-blocks from the water. Clubhouse has a little gym and small library full of books, but not much else. One covered parking spot with room for one guest car if needed.
Upstairs room in the condo is large, two queen beds, great for the kids (but no bathroom upstairs.) Both bathrooms are downstairs ... this was not a problem for us.
Rear Patio is nice and large. Barbecued and ate outside nearly every night.
The local beach is small. Hardly there at high tide. But we were always traveling about exploring other beaches and snorkeling spots ...
Would highly recommend.
January 2017 Stay
We enjoyed the accommodations very much. A couple of notes the double beds we found small to sleep and the second bathroom downstairs although it it ok.
You are close to downtown Lahaina it is actually within walking distance. There is no beach but the pool is right beside the ocean so you can relax to the sounds while sun tanning.
The club house is a nice touch however there is no bar on site. The staff were not to accommodating only referring us to the realtor each time. We had sent emails stating we're going to be 5 people but never received any acknowledgement.
But all in all nothing could ruin a stay in paradise we love Maui.
Great location and well kept
The unit was very well maintained. The remodeled was done tastefully and the appliances and other items in the condo worked well. The grounds of the resort are immaculate and the pools were wonderful.
The location is good for pool time and surfing, not so much for immediate beach access (to rocky). However, Kaanapli is very close (a short drive) which we took advantage of. We walked to Lahaina one night (about 10 minutes) and made many trips by car (2 minutes).
The only negatives on the property would be (1) no curtains/blinds in the bathrooms (2) missing remote for one of the A/C units, a TV and a fan (3) the furniture could have been a bit more comfortable and maybe another small sofa, it was a bit minimal. However, none of the problems prevented us from having a good stay.
July 2016 Stay
The condo was very nice and clean. The remodel and new appliances made for a modern and pleasant home base during our stay.
The community and facilities were very enjoyable. This is more of a swim at the pool and surf experience with easy access to downtown Lahaina. If you want sandy beaches a short drive North to Black Rock and Kaanapali is what we did. This was exactly what we wanted for our trip.
My only criticisms of the unit is there see no blinds in the bathrooms, a few remotes were missing (which made the fan and TV in the master bedroom unusable) and it could have used one more sofa for lounging inside.

March 2016 Stay
Overall the stay was good. The sofa bed needs to be updated. We tried to use it but it was very old and dirty. Also a twin bed could easily be added to the loft to accommodate a larger family. Thank you.
