The unit was very well maintained. The remodeled was done tastefully and the appliances and other items in the condo worked well. The grounds of the resort are immaculate and the pools were wonderful.
The location is good for pool time and surfing, not so much for immediate beach access (to rocky). However, Kaanapli is very close (a short drive) which we took advantage of. We walked to Lahaina one night (about 10 minutes) and made many trips by car (2 minutes).
The only negatives on the property would be (1) no curtains/blinds in the bathrooms (2) missing remote for one of the A/C units, a TV and a fan (3) the furniture could have been a bit more comfortable and maybe another small sofa, it was a bit minimal. However, none of the problems prevented us from having a good stay.
Great location, large space, very cool community with multiple pools and extremely good landscapers (there was a wind storm on one of our last days and the landscapers had it cleaned up by noon the next day). Only issue we had was WiFi password didn't work. This was not a problem for us as I have a portable cellular hotspot unit due to my travels.
Puamana is a great property and this unit is very nice. It was unseasonably warm when we were there and it was nice to have a quiet A/C. The unit was very clean and looked exactly as the pictures show it. Great access to two of the three pools and the beachfront. It is a bit further off the main road and you can tell the difference in road noise compared to some of the other properties we have rented in Puamana. My only negative comment would be that it was missing a few things - only 3 wine glasses, no drying rack but if this is what your complaints are you had a great holiday - and we did
The photos didn't do this place justice (and they were great photos!). The condo was spotless, open, beautiful. Great back and front porches. And Puamana was amazing - the grounds are well kept, and everyone there was so kind. The pool behind the clubhouse was breathtaking - we often watched sea turtles, manta rays, and surfers in the nearby surf. They say that location is everything and this space absolutely made this the perfect vacation for us. The owners obviously took great care in remodeling this space. Love, love, loved it.
