The house is situated in the garden of a lofty city-house (with a bed and breakfast)
It has 1 open and 1 covered terace
The house is more than 100 years old, and was constructed with elements of the 17th century as stained glaas windows and built-in statues in the facade
Inside there is a living space with a sitting-corner with a large sofa (can be converted in a double bed)
There is a table for 4 persons, a bar and an open kitchen
The kitchen has a refrigerator, a micro-wave, 2 induction plates, and everything to cook and eat
(there is a genaral shop at 200 m)
There is an open 'bedroom' that is situates on a duplex-level
In the summertime you can open the roof above it and sleep in the open air (there is a flyscreen)
It's a kind of a sleeping duplex, where you can sit on the bed, but not stand (very cosy)
There is also a shower + sink and a separate toilet
The heating is a gas fireplace (you can see the fire)

its a unique and very cosy garden-house in our place of wich the history goes up to 1500
hard to believe that you can sleep in a very quiet garden , right in the middle of a historical city at 8 min walk from the market-place
My boyfriend and I stayed during our trip to Brugges for his 21st birthday. He said it was the best present anyone had ever got for him! We adored the garden house, it was perfect. Clean, tidy, comfortable and a very short walk to the centre. We spent a fair amount of time in the house as the city tends to close up quite early. Can't imagine a better place to spend cold wintery nights! There was a sound system we could play music through our phones, a record player and lots of vinyls which added to the charm of the place. Although the house is situated in a garden, it is very private. We met the owners on our second day, and they could not have been any more warm and welcoming to us! We're from Scotland and had never visited Belgium before, so they were kind enough to chat to us a little about Brugges and gave us some maps and pointed out the best places to visit while we were there. We are so lucky to have found such an amazing little place.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the garden studio, it is such a treasure tucked into the heart of Bruges. We found the studio to be full of character and charm and didn’t even mind the terrible weather as we got to spend more time in the house warming by the stove. The studio was clean, fully equipped and although we were only two we feel it could comfortably accommodate four people. Our hosts were very helpful, providing excellent suggestions for places to visit and local amenities and even warmed up the studio for us prior to our arrival! Access to the studio allowed us to be completely flexible coming and going. We would definitely recommend the studio as a wonderful base from which to explore a really beautiful city.

C'est véritablement enjoués que nous rentrons d'une semaine passée dans cette location en plein cœur de la ville de Bruges. Alliant cachet et modernité, la petite maison de jardin offre un cadre atypique et dépaysant pour des vacances. De plus, elle est très bien équipée et très propre et il y fait chaud avec le poêle! Marie-Rose très accueillante nous a donné des informations pratiques et touristiques dès notre arrivée, c'est donc une chaleureuse recommandation que nous faisons à tous ceux qui séjourneront à Bruges!
the guesthouse is ideal to visit the old city of bruges by foot
also good for biking in the countryside (flat) and to little nearby cities as damme and lissewege (also very old and very cosy)
